IMO Jimmy is the character on the show that is closest to the comic book Jimmy. I mean, he gets called names by the editor, bumbles through an investigation, almost gets killed, has to get rescued, then criticizes meteor freaks in front of his meteor freak girlfriend (although admittedly he doesn't know), then 2 seconds later gets caught by said girlfriend staring at another girl...and then he's just like "Let's go upstairs baby." like nothing happened.

He's too cool in the show to be true to the comics. I realize what a statement that is about comics Jimmy, haha. I have no problem with that; go, diverge from the comics, PTB. I think Kara is the closest character to their comics version though.
