He is supposed to be watching out for Clark, Maybe he could shed some light on Kara and her family and why she is here

How would he know more about Krypton than Kara? She lived there for 18 years. He's never been there, has he? ;x

he will be in next week's episode, hopefully he does have a scene with kara.

He's on Mars lamenting over how much he loves Lana and can't have her because of his abilities and alien ancestry. :lol:

He's from Krypton. He was Jor-El's assistant. Martian Manhunter is just a nickname

Martian Manhunter is not from Krypton. Raya was Jor-El's assistant, not Martian Manhunter. MM just basically came in contact with Jor-El at some point and was recruited to help track down criminals across the 28 known galaxies to imprison them in the phantom zone. Isn't that what they talked about in Phantom?

I seem to remember reading that MM is going to be in the next episode, Cure, and that he does have a past history with Kara.

He is not from Krypton. He's worked for Jor-el, but he's not from there. He is from Mars. In a Season 6 episode he says to Clark something substantively similar to, "I am John Jones. I am from Mars."

He wouldn't necessarily know more about Krypton than Kara does, but Jor-el cast some suspicion upon Kara. Clark could speak to MM to check into her history, see if he can back up her story a bit.
