I really enjoy this show and gives me a basic understanding of how to comment a crime and get away with it!(LOL)
and CSI: miami is not as good as the orignal in my opinion

i love c.s.i. who doesn't want to learn to get away with murder. but i have to say c.s.i miami has some pretty decent ones. i think the worse episode i saw was when they found this chick in the abandoned apartment and she had all these maggots in her head and she was still alive....they got a big ewww from me LOL

CSI Miami is just beginning to hit its stride. The one with Jason Lewis(The Absolut Hunk/Samantha's boyfriend from SATC) was the turning point IMO. The plot lines move along in a very "southern" way. Not much seems to be happening and then, pow.
William Petersen has some very strong views about his show and the spin offs.

I watch both CSI Las Vegas and Miami. Prefer Las Vegas a little more though.

CSI is my favorite show; Like Las Vegas a bit more than Miami.
Enjoy the interaction of the characters and, they don't get in way of the story.
Greg's my favorite; wasn't on last weeks show. :(

Don't get me wrong, I prefer the original. It's just taken Miami a while to get going and I think it has to do with David Caruso overshadowing the other actors. Petersen works WITH his cast while Caruso wants to play Big Daddy.

i prefer csi mostly cause sometimes looking at horatio in csi miami creeps me out sometimes. i wish grissom would shave. but have been told he is trying to hide his double chin LOL. anyone heard the rumor that a new csi might be coming out? i think it will be csi new york

KalsElle

Wm Petersen is very upset about more spinoffs a la Law and Order. I read his comments on google's alt.gossip.celebrities. He's threatening to book if they make another spin off. I live in New York and would love to see them do one about this place.

snoopyrules
02-18-2004, 12:06 PM
oooo i wish peterson wouldn't do that :o(. i think new york would be an awsome place to do it. i understand his point though. just seems like a lot of good show are going now. and i would enjoy new ones i know i would like. but i don't want him leaving. i live in canada and really i need all the entertainment i can get!

Miss Lane

A little confused at the mo. I was reading a CSI article in a mag the other day and they said that William Petersen had reprised his character from Manhunter which doesn't make any sense at all seeing as his character in Manhunter was named Will Graham but in CSI he's Gil Grissom.

Msjulier
02-18-2004, 06:18 PM
I heard NY was going to be the new CSI locale.
I don't see Peterson leaving. Too good of a job. Mucho bucks.
Also, Law & Order has survived changes of cast without dropping a beat.

i don't know if i would like peterson replaced. but i am happy a new csi will be coming out. and being that it's the big apple there should be lots of stories there. geez, i really wonder how much jerry bruckheimer (sp?) makes with all the stuff` he's done. i think he started with top gun that was a loooooong time ago

Just as CSI: Miami's Horatio Caine and company got their introduction on CSI: Crime Scene Investigations, the cast of CSI: New York will be making their initial appearance on Miami.
Zap2It reported that the CSI: New York team would be introduced in a CSI: Miami episode in May. The cast of CSI: Miami were debuted in a similar way, in the CSI episode "Cross-Jurisdictions". In that episode, Catherine and Warrick traveled to Miami to work on a high-profile case with top Miami detective Horatio Caine. The plot details for the Miami/New York crossover are not known at this time.
CBS President Les Moonves revealed the other three cities that were considered alongside New York. Chicago, San Francisco, and New Orleans were considered as well, with New Orleans and New York emerging to become the top two competitors.
However, Moonves explained that the choice was clear early on. "We talked about New Orleans, we talked about San Francisco, we talked about Chicago...but New York became the front-runner fairly early," Moonves said.
The network and production companies are currently trying to decide whether CSI: New York will be filmed primarly in New York City itself, or in Los Angeles, like CSI and CSI: Miami are. Moonves noted that New York officials are eager to have the show filmed in the city, and he said they have been "bending over backwards" to pursuade CBS executives to consider filming in the Big Apple.

I think that it is crud the way that Eckstrom split up the team.

What do you think?

biym6969
12-15-2004, 08:13 AM
i think it's cool considering that the team of characters have been with each other for a couple of seasons already. besides this split gives a chance to bring in new characters and allows grissom to have a relationship the other csi girl.

My wildest guess is that they're making more CSI's

They have Las Vegas & Miami, which I do watch.

They have New York, which I don't watch

What if they split Las Vegas into 3? Dayshift, nightshift, & swingshift?

Just joking or am I?

WBCrazyGuy

Ventilators?

I don't know I like Catherine and Warrick the best.

Although, I do like them all because they all have special features.

Maniac in the Porsche
12-16-2004, 07:32 PM
Okay, I misunderstood. (The ventilators are the machines in hospitals that help people breathe & there were a lot of scenes with them in the pilot epi of NY).

I do like Catharine & Warrick, but my favorite for the moment may be Greg.

I was so excited for him to make it out of the Lab and into the field, but I don't know if we get to see him as much now? Also, they've been messing with his hair!

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the original CSI!! Ok, I have to admit that I have a crush on Gary Dourdan (Warrick). I laugh everytime that I call him my "future husband.":p Anyway, this week's episode was really good. It was so great to see Greg get the job. I'm still watching the repeats on Spike because I have just been watching CSI off and on over the years so there are some things that I don't get that may have happened last season but I'm so glad that Spike airs those repeats. I'm definitely going to watch the rest of this season though.:D I just can't seem to get into Miami and New York though. I swear that everytime that I watch New York I end up falling asleep.

Yep, Warrick is a treat to watch, but I have a bigger crush on Greg. :D

if I remember correctly... the episode that I fell in love with Greg was when that liquid guy arrives in a bucket.
*remembers*
When Sidel's paramedic boyfriend complains that she smells of death.
Then, Greg says that it wouldn't matter to a real man!
*melts into a puddle*
*quickly unliquifies because I don't want to put our fav. CSI team thru that again*

I totally love CSI Las Vegas, don't really watch the others though. Just a few weeks ago there was an episode that was all about Warrick!! :p The one where he has to go to court, if I remember well.

"Lab Rat Liam" has become "Grasshopper, Grissom's adopted son number three".

He now works feild, usually with Sara. ;)

There was a scene on the last new one... Ah, I don't want to spoil it.

Anyway...

The one thing that annoys me about this show: They pronounce Nevada wrong. :\

*sighs* I Love Greg. I'm trying to figure out a way to drag him out of the TV and chain him to my bed. Soooo hot!

Though I actually liked him in the lab. Sitting there with weird hair styles and all his strange hobbies and music! Though the tons more screen time he has now is nice!

man, we recorded it & somehow missed the first part or something. The VCR tape started when Grissom was walking in that warehouse with the money, so we were a little confused at first.

Man, I hope that the actor who plays Nick Stokes is okay. That would freak anybody out having to actually do that. Scarey stuff for sure.

I looked at the picture several times and the only clue that I found was Capt. Brass was not included with the rest of the cast. I don't know if the position where the characters are sitting and standing have any significance, especially Catherine is standing close to Grissom(hint of a possible relationship??), and Sara is between Nick and Warrick. A possible love triangle perhaps? Other than that, I could not see anything else.

I just read on mediaweek.com that Grey's Anatomy has beaten CSI in total amont of viewers (25 mil-22 mil). How is this possible, there is no way that this show should be beating CSI. Her character is recurring. Not sure how many eps she will be in or if she will be around after this season. I don't know if you are aware of this but she replaced Emmanuelle Vaugier(Helen Bryce) on there although EV's character was a cop and SC's character is a lab tech.
