I hate all the commercials. Why can't they just show a few less...... and give us just a little more show......

I've noticed the show is about 38 mins long and the rest ia for commercials.

Is this the norm in shows

I think it depends on how much they charge for ads. Some shows, like Heroes, have shorter commerical breaks because the ads are twice as expensive. Maybe CW should charge a little more and give us more show...... cripes.... it was almost like I was watching a show of commericals and not Smallville.

Smallville has been pretty consistent I don't know why complaints come up always as if the commercials are some new occurance.

The show average seasons 1-2 was about 42 minutes, where now it is about 40

Kara was one of the shorter episodes on Smallville last week though. 39 minutes

2 Minutes could be major, but usually if it is 2 minutes sacrificed at the end of an episode nothing is lost.
