This Stalker guy is getting on my nerves. I understand why Claire likes him, but that doesn't mean i have to like a stalker plus a jerk packed into one.

Also, in that 8/8 painting, is that Claire kissing Syler?

I paused the frame, the that looks more like Syler than anything.

But one thing I don't understand is, why would this painting be in the series of paintings?

The first paintings were going for "The 9 minus One" (DL killed Linderman already), probably who started the company. But HRG isn't one of them, he simply worked for the company.

and i have to say so far the season is a bit of a let down because i don't know who to root for.

Last season I love Hiro, Peter and Claire.

Now Peter is joining a gang that robs armored money truck...

Claire have forgotten about Zack and kissing a jerk she barely knows and stalks her.

Hiro is... well i don't know what the heck he is doing... I mean it seems like he is not coming back. Because if he can come back, Ando wouldn't have to wait at all. When ever Hiro decides to come back, he could come back to the moment he was gone in the first place.

Instead his dad died and he is staying in the past so he can hook up with his great grandma...

I dont think she nor Kensei are actually his ancestors. I thought so at first as well, but with further inspection of the past conversations there is nothing that really says they are, it was mostly fan speculation. I am bothered as well by the Hiro time traveling thing from the standpoint of he could easily come back to right when he left and therefore be able to prevent his dads death.

It looks like the role of West, is actually a "revamping" of the original vision for the Zach character.
It was unfortunate that things were cut short, when the writers decided to re-write the characters sexual preference. Thomas Dekker, only took issue with this, because it was NOT part of the original vision for Zach.
From what I've heard on the message boards, he seems to be doing quite well over at Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Let's hope the writers have learned their lesson, and plan things out in advance next time.
The character of West seems cool, with a bit of mystery thrown in. I hope we get to keep him around for awhile.

I thought it looked more like Sylar too...but who knows. I wonder when Issac painted those paintings - I mean...if he painted one that looked like HRG...don't you think he would have mentioned it? 'Hey I painted a dude that looked like you getting shot in the face....awkward'

I agree - West is def getting on my nerves. And what's with Claire all kissing him after he acted like such a d**k - I mean.....geez... play a little hard to get or something..... it's just sad that she went through so much the first season and she STILL seems to be a bit naive.....

Im pretty sure thats West in the picture, but we may only be assuming that since he is the most recent love interest for Claire. But you never know..it could be Sylar disguised as West. Oh the mysteries!

That and with the whole, Claire kissing West scene. Seems to me hes this cute young guy who has superpowers like her so she feels she can be herself with him now. She's 16/17 years old, its to be expected.

He's pretty much the only person the Claire can relate to, to agree with KryptonzGirl, so all stalking aside, she likes him..

yes, he is the only guy that Claire can relates to. Kind of like how Zack was the only person she can relate to and later Peter.

that plus the being a jerk and a bit of mystery spells out romance for most people.

however, the first time he stalked Claire was before she had the whole lizard-human talk.

so, why was he stalking her?

just don't like this character. it could be the writters or how the actor is playing him...

If you look at the graphic novels it kinda explains why he was so interested (and stalking) in claire. He noticed somthing different about her and thought that they might be able to relate. Not that that gives him an excuse to be hovering outside her window...

My thought on that painting is that maybe sylar transformed into claire or somthing and convinced west to kill HRG or somthing... not that sylar would need help unless he didnt get any of his previous powers back...

I'm really hoping Sylar gets his cutting power back so he can take of Claire's arm or something, and she'll just grow a new one immediately. That'd be so badass.

I'm actually starting to like West. However, I don't think he'd be much of a fighter. For instance, if he took on Sylar he'd get owned in 3 seconds.
