I liked how alot of the video clips went to the lyrics. The song was quite upbeat I thought, which was a good thing.

That was simply fantastic. You had some of the best scene selection I've ever seen in a video. I'm not kidding, you totally rocked in that department. Incredible job on picking just the right scenes to go with the lyrics and/or feel of the music. And your pacing was awesome as well. I love how you stay on scenes long enough so that the viewer can get into them and "the moment", as connected with the music. Beautifully done. And this song is just awesome, loved seeing Heroes set to it. And I loved the flashes/effects you had throughout on major beats, awesome stuff, really added a lot.

- "Feeling the moment slip away" with the scene of Ted crying as his wife slipped away was perfect

- I loved that Matt scene @ 39 for "losing direction, losing faith", worked awesomely, lol his face was perfect for the lines

- Right after that, more A+ scene selection with Hiro "wishing for someone", lol loved that too

- @ 48, Micah screaming was awesome with the music, lol

- Hiro in the shadow of the eclipse @ 103 was beautiful with the lyrics, "How do you feel when there's no sun" (awesome song for Heroes, haha brilliant choice Chokito:D)

- "How do feel when rain clouds come" with the Haitian wiping HRG's memory was a very cool scene choice -- his mind was being "clouded" here...lol

- "Pull you down again" with Niki dropping to the floor was awesome, and I just loved the timing of her butt hitting the floor to the music :lol:

- "How do you feel when there's no one" @ 112 with Isaac crying and then showing a dying Simone was beautiful and powerful, and fantastic imagery with the scene of her dead hand's fingers opening to reveal a key...beautiful, lol

- "Am I just like you" with Mohinder about to blow away Sylar was great too, lol I especially liked the reaction on Sylar @ 120 when he shut his eyes (great connection to the actual show man, Mohinder wanting to kill Sylar makes him "just like Sylar"...lol)

- 123, Hiro running around cheering was awesome with the "woohoo-ing" in the song, lol

- Niki "turning to face what [she's] become" @ 135 was great, and then
"Buried the ashes of someone" with Mohinder and his father's ashes was awesome as well, haha well done Chokito!:lol:

- Claire "broken by the strain" @ 145 was a great scene too

- 155, Peter flying after you showed his brother Nathan doing the same was really awesome with "Am I just like you"...lol

- Loved the eclipsed sun @ 208 to mirror the lyrics of the song, haha

- Ted (at least I think that was Ted, lol) getting "pulled down" as per the lyrics @ 214 was great, lol

- 220, more brilliant scene selection, Peter with the scary eyes coming back from the dead followed by Claire doing the same was beautiful with the song's "Am I just like you", LOL

- 247, the scene of the map on the wall and the faces of random "special" people was awesome with the song

- 308, great timing with the music of Sylar's head hitting the pavement :lol:

- Hiro (and now Ando too) celebrating with the woohoo-ing @ 320 was great once again, and the scene right after of Claire celebrating with her fellow cheerleaders was just beautiful with the song as well, lol loved that too....and you didn't stop there, the scene of Nathan winning the election with the balloons was the icing on the cake! Lol, all so awesome with the music

- Loved how you showed Ando with a sword @ 338 right after showing Hiro stab Sylar with a sword, showing us that Ando is "just like [Hiro]", lol

- Nathan alone on the roof @ 354 was really awesome with "how do you feel when there's no one", haha

- 402, a bearded Nathan looking at a broken picture of him and his bro was beautiful with "am I just like you"

You can tell how much I loved this video Chokito....just amazing work. You really couldn't have found a better song for Heroes...made for a very uplifting and moving experience...all the pieces fit. My new favorite video from you, and one of the best Heroes vids I've ever seen. You da man Chokito.:cool:

yeah i liked the song
usually i prefer to do a theme/story thing
but some of the lyrics seemed to fit stuff
so i thought do it
glad that you liked the mohinder/sylar bit
and yes it was ted getting pulled down @ 2:14

yeah that's bit is a bit of a spoiler
because that hasn't happened yet, that was a teaser bit in the season 2 premiere
so looking forward to seeing what is going to happen there

and that bit was a little rushed unfortunately due to the song ending

Hey Chokito -

Finally loaded your new vid on my iPod and watched it. Damn I love your editing - you did such a great job of matching the lyrics to scenes from the show. You also did a wonderful job of really using all of the different characters - a lot of vidders for Heroes tend to focus on one or two characters only.

I really like the song, it just plays beautifully with HEROES - love the constant use of the eclipse for "there's no sun" brilliant editing.

Err are Feeder's other songs similar to this one? I haven't heard of this band before and really like the song - darn you vidders for introducing me to new bands! :D

Well I hate to tell you this but someone on youtube has already made a Heroes vid out of this. Even though I like yours, I can't get that other one out of my head because it's one of the best vids I've ever seen.

And besides, Chokito's video is much better in my opinion -- his scene selection is superior, and he doesn't have a ton of mouth movement like that vid does. Chokito's is the standard by which to compare, not that one.

You can like anything better, but I don't think a vidder/artist appreciates their art compared to somebody else's the way you did, particularly with your "Well I hate to tell you this" lead-in. Not very considerate of the time and energy that went into their work.

Telling somebody their work is good but somebody else's is better makes them feel like crap.
