What was the deal with Peter's tattoo turning into the Symbol? I understand it healing, that makes sense, but why turn into the symbol first? It makes it seem like there's a more mystical reason for the powers than just evolution. I'm not sure how much i like that. As much as i love finding the symbol hidden all over, i think that it's becoming a bit too much now. It's the symbol of both Nakamura Inc. and Petrelli Law Firm? Come on, people.

well since tattoo's work by scarring the skin with the needle, yes, his power would heal it. but since it was healing it part by part, u saw parts of the tattoo disappear first, what remained of the tattoo at the end looked like the helix symbol. producers probably hinting that the mcsorley family crest has its beginnings with the helix
