Peter Lost of Memory, Sylar lost of powers

Isn't it strange?

In reality being near Sylar would have made Peter copy all his powers.

Yet Here Peter has all of Sylars powers and no memory, and Sylar has no powers?

Did something else happen? What are the extent of Peters Powers? Has he been exposed as well to the Haitian?

We know the Haitian's powers is to erase and suppress powers.

Perhaps some sort of feedback occured between Sylar and Peter.

Peter is suppressing Sylars powers, while also suppressing his own memories.

Yeah!I noticed that not only Peter has all Sylar's powers but,he also have his mean thoughts.The way he was shoking the guy to death,made think of Sylar.Thanks to the girl who called his name he stopped right in time.

Peter and Sylar are now "empathically" connected and When Peter gets his memory back, Sylar will get his powers back.

well we never really saw someone in the beginning stages of the virus. perhaps they just get a little weak at first and obviously lose their powers, than rapidly grow alot weaker, and go into the state the haitian was in when mohinder found him.

and according to what candice was saying, it kinda looked like the company had her get him to take care of him, and he was probably gonna be mohinders next stop, or of course, since they know his blood heals people with the virus, just take a vial, and vaccinate him

either way, u do NOT want him regainin his powers, especially now that he has candice's :)

I don't think peter's loss of memory has anything to do with sylar. There was 4 months of goings on between season 1 and 2, alot happened in that time that we have to find out about. Who locked Peter in that container? And what about the necklace Peter was wearing? Did anyone notice that it was the necklace that the Hatian was wearing in season 1? When Mohindar cured the Hatian from the hero disease the Hatian wasn't wearing his necklace.
I think the Hatian took Peters memory before he got sick and locked him in that container, probably following orders from HRG.
Losing his memory is probably the best thing for Peter, it was his his past and his disfunctional family which kept him from fully realizing his abilities, too much emotional baggage and all.

Sorry pycer, I didn't see your earlier post and that you already mentioned the necklace that Peter was wearing.

Regarding Sylar's powers, I think he is still living in an illusion and he didn't really kill Candice, it's all still just a dream to keep him under control.

I wouldn't think, so we saw her true form, i know you can create realistic illusions, but still i don't think its an illusion she's dead. Probably cause they couldn't get the same actress to play her.

He does have the Haitians necklace, though didn't the haitian have it as well? So obviously its not the same.

Her showing Sylar her "true form" could have just been another illusion, I guess we'll just have to wait and find out later.

But, I just went back and watched the end of episode 201, when the Hatian walks into Kopy Kingdom and meets Noah he is not wearing his necklace. I think he gave it to Peter after taking his memory.

No, watch the second episode over at nbc rewind again. Aim for the 25 minute mark and you will the haitian sitting with his shirt open and no necklace to be found. Peter has his necklace.
