Okay, so the official outline on Smallville's website states that Clark head's off to the FoS to start his training, but Jor-El warns him about Kara.

I must be forgetting something, because isn't the fortress currently dead? Or do I just not remember the episode last season that it was restored?

well when clark sucked in bearn into the crystal after bearn sucked in Zods harddrvie it gave the crystal a lot of power and clark used that power to restore the fortress. This was in the episode Fallout. However we havent seen the fortress since then.

Jor-El's voice better be Terence Stamp. They didn't mention his name on anywhere yet.

I guess you missed the end of "Fallout" last season when Clark restored the FOS with the crsytal.

Yeah, FOS was revived at the end of Fallout but hasn't been mentioned since...

Yes it is. I'm happy about that.

The fortress came back to life when Raya died but at no point did they show that Clark knew about it till he just went there and started talking to Jor el

I know about that. Since you confirmed it's his voice. Whew! I don't like anybody to replace his voice. It's perfect voice-over for Jor-El.

I know that the Fortess came back when Clark told his mom that one day he will catch all phantoms and start training. However, the training is to watch over Kara. :P

Trying not to get too spoiled here, but I'm glad you confirmed TS for Jor-El. I was wondering because I hadn't read anything saying that he would be in the episode. :)

I thought I read somewhere that TS might not be the voice any longer so I was so happy to see his name and finally hearing his voice again.

I mean he is other than MB the only Jor El voice we know since the 80's

Clark did too know about it before tonights epiode "Kara." Hes the one who went back to the Fortress to restore it after Raya died in "Fallout."

Where is Terrence's name confirmed??

Hummm I do not remember Clark returning to the fortress to restore it. He told his Mom that is was dead and at the end of fallout, we see the fortress come back to life but there was no Clark in sight.

Terrance name comes up at the begining where you see the special guests names and the writers, producers etc.

Um so the FOS was restored all by itself. Raya said that the crstal had enough power to restore the FOS and after he talked with his Mom, he went back to restore it. Just because we didnt actually see him do it, it was implied and assumed that it was him.

Oh ok, i forgot that Canadians get to see it on Wednesdays now.

Was that infamous "I have no reason to stay" line in the episode?

I thought that line was supposed to have been in the Premiere, going by the clothing of Clark and the barn setting. The MM line "Theres no going back" wasnt in the episode either.

^ Oh I know... it's just I was arguing with a poster saying that scene was cut, while she said it was going to be in Kara... I wanted to be right

He was planning on heading "North" is what he told Lois when he was saying good bye to her. His plan was to start his training but all that changed when Kara appeared and later Jor el tells him that Kara can't be trusted and his training starts with her.

;)

So the training in the fortress is now delayed for another season. Are we surprised?

So he didn't say goodbye to chloe?

Ardiem3

Well if this is the last season, which i hope that its not, what will actually be covered, as far as Superman mythos, this season?? If not training at all...?

No because he was out in the woods with Lois when he said it but then Kara appeared so his plans were changed.

You are correct. I just found a recap of the episode and it does state that at the end the FoS was shown glowing with energy.

that's actually not how it happened at all the fortress never was dead at all it was Jor-El testing clark because clark was not listening to jor-el and ignoring his destiny so jor-el shut down the fortress when clark finally was ready to accept his destiny jor-el restored the fortresse's power clark didn't restore it with the crystal jor-el restored it cause clark was finally bready to accept his destiny because if you remember clark was at hgis house when it was being restored

How did you come up with that theory? I'm just curious because the fortress lost power when braniac was killed, and in Fallout, Raya states that the crystal can be used to restore the fortress.

Forgive me if this has already been brought up.
But when did clark find out the Fortress of solitude was up , lights on, fixed since he accepted his destiny with the death of Raya?
Did I miss a scene? Did I miss an episode?
As far as I knew, Clark thought the fortress of solitude was burnt out, no life, no lights, then he accepts his destiny after the death of Raya, and boom lights come on everything is fixed.

When did Clark find out the FOS is fixed and ready for use?

Thanks

The very end of Fallout. It lights up. It is implied that someone went to the FOS and revived it.

I had a theory that Lionel was the one who revived it, allowing it to be possible for Zod to still exist. See here:

Clark took the powered-up crystal at the end of Fallout to the FOS and we saw it light up right before the credits. It was subtle but it still happened that way.

Here's the original thread for my Lionel reviving the FOS theory:

Yeah, since he knew about the FOS being alive, it had to.

But there are still many questions about this that are unanswered. The crystal seemed to shatter when the Bizarro phantom crashed into it (you could see the "S" breaking up in slow-mo). What does this mean for the phantoms trapped inside? Are they released, were they sent back to the PZ, or were their essences consumed and converted to the energy that powered the FOS (meaning that Zod no longer exists in SV mythos)?

Also, what happened to the broken dagger and the other pieces of Brainiac's octagonal power source? I hope we get answers to all of these.

Oh I am sorry. I thought the FOS magically was monitoring Clark, and by saying he would accept his destiny the FOS by itself turned on.
I did not realize that meant Clark actually went there and did a crystal repair.
My bad. Thank you for the heads up.
You guys are the best.
