In my opinion, this is one of the most weirdest and off balanced episodes of Smallville I have witnessed. There was a lot more out of the ordinary in this episode.

there was just so many things i could not put my finger on which I understand the element of suprise and suspense, but this was different. Ill list some things, mind you they are not complaints, but just things that were so weird.

I also have no idea what the season long arc will be, but it has to be about the crystal

1. the government getting involved and that figurehead calling all the shots with the crystal he had
2. the lana/lex scene with the clone theory being revealed
3. the chloe/lex talk-how did he get out of prison if he did not want to leave before talking to the person who admitted to killing Lana?
3. the ship and where it went
4. there was no fight in this episode-usualy there is a fight and some kind of conflict is resolved right before the last commercial break-in this episode nothing happens
5. the preview for next week's episode. WTF? if lana clone was revealed, why are they saying she might not be the real person
6. going to jor-el, just thought this was weird that he wanted Clark to look after Kara.
7. Lois blacking out again without any real explanation

does anyone else share what I am feeling. I enjoyed the episode, and im sure after a 2nd watch, a lot of things will be cleared up, but just felt I needed to state this.

2. the lana/lex scene with the clone theory being revealedMy only thought was, "Hello, Season Three of Lois & Clark."

3. the chloe/lex talk-how did he get out of prison if he did not want to leave before talking to the person who admitted to killing Lana?Well, he was out because someone else miraculously confessed and had proof of being there.

3. the ship and where it wentThe way that scene happened, made it seem like the ship didn't blow up. It seemed like it was transported.

5. the preview for next week's episode. WTF? if lana clone was revealed, why are they saying she might not be the real personThe preview was pretty 'blah' I think they're trying to play the angle of, "Oh, look at how much Lana is a change woman because of Lex."

6. going to jor-el, just thought this was weird that he wanted Clark to look after Kara. This was very weird, indeed. I really wish there was some kind of scene between Clark and Kara telling her that he was going to leave for a while to train in the fortress. The Fortress scene just didn't jive with what Clark told Kara, "You can stay here at the farm with me."

cool, thanks for clarifying some stuff-hopefully things will start to be put into motion for the season
