Does anyone have the quote from when Kara mentioned a civil war with General Zod? I believe it's the first time Zod's been mentioned since "Sneeze." lol Also, who caught the Doomsday reference?

The doomsday reference seemed like it was about some sort of doomsday device that would destroy the planet. I hope we get to find out what Zod did to trigger it.

Yes, xrayvision is correct. The "whispers about a doomsday device" were not a reference to the character Doomsday. The concept of a "doomsday weapon" originated (as I understand it) during the Cold War. The idea was to create a weapon which would destroy the entire planet, and would be triggered by any offensive maneuvers by the enemy of the nation deploying it.

In other words, the US sets up a Doomsday weapon and tells the Soviets that it is in place. It would be intended to deter the Soviets from launching any nuclear strike against the US, since even a single nuclear detonation would trigger the doomsday device, destroying all life on earth. I think the powers are suggesting it was that type of device which Zod triggered to destroy Krypton.

I kind of wish Clark would have mentioned Zod being released from the Phantom Zone.

Kara wasn't exactly sure why Krypton blew up, and Clark knows why, Zod.

Well, when you put it that way, it would have been cool for Clark to tell Kara that Zod's crimes led to Krypton's destruction. He doesn't necessarily have to tell her that Zod was released from the Phantom Zone. I was kind of hoping for a mention of Raya though....
