What are Lana's secrets?

I saw the episode and at the end of the show I waited to see a preview of what will happen next week. It said something like "The Lana that left isn't the one that came back." Also something about secrets.

What do you think her evil deed?

Could she have killed someone in the past? Or maybe something greater?

Uhm could she have killed someone in the past uhm HELLO!!!! Do you guys not remember Genevieve Teauge? She did kill her and now that she and Lex are on the outs I would not be suprised if that does not pop up agian.

Her secret is she staged a murder and Lex was essentially framed for it. Even though the clone was not living, she still pulled off a scam. I think she will be facing alotof demons this season...she was in lex's company for so long she was bound to pick up a thing or two, whether she wanted to or not, she is gunna have to find her way back to the Lana before Lex corrupted her.

not to mention that "the lana that left" could be referencing to lana when she left clark....not neccisarily the one that left for china.....she has changed due to lex....thus she is not the one coming back to clark now

Yeah, I don't think that Lana is physically different, just emotionally changed. She's scarred from her relationship with Lex. How will that affect her life now that she's back? That's the change.

They're trying to put the idea that the Lana clone is possibly the one who is alive and the real Lana is dead. But there's no way that's what happened. They wouldn't mess up with the continuity that badly.

It has something to do about Lana's plans and disposing of the clone. I don't read spoilers, but this is my highly educated guess, unless there's something else they will be building up throughout the season (like they did with Lionel's parents deaths in season 3).

I know Lionel is somehow involved with her plan. And I wouldn't be surprised if it's in a way that will piss Lex off so badly that he kills him, because I'm convinced Lionel won't make it through this season alive (unfortunately).

Maybe it was Lionel who got Lana into the facility to steal the dead clone?

I know but its still a secert. And with Lana's DNA all over (even though it was Isobel) I can see ol Lex using it to hurt her. Yes she did not do it herself, but her body with Isobel did do it. And in a court of law it will be hard for Lana to prove she did not actually kill her. Even though Lana is innocent it is a scerct that could sink her. Sorry about the tone in the last post by the way I just wanted to point out that even though innocent there are things Lex can use to take her down. And IMO I don't think Lex will let Lana walk away from this marriage after he murdered lied and cheated to get her without a scratch. Especailly after she framed him for her murder.

DNA all over what though? We never found out what Lex did with that body. That was about 3 years ago anyways. Smallville writers don't think back that far. Gives them a headache.

Maybe one of the super soldier lived. Didn't Lex have enough peptides for a soldier?

I don't think either even care about Lionel. For all they know, and Lex for that matter, is that Lionel has been announced dead.

Are you sure it wasn't Lana? It's been awhile, but I thought she killed Genevieve Teague in self defense. I remember her staring at that silver stone like "what have I done?" and afterward she washed her hands in the sink, completely in shock.

It was Isobel. I think Lana does have a little of the blame in that also because had she not hidden that stone from Clark and trusted him like she eventually did, Genevieve would have never been killed or led to believe that Lana had the stone (well, as long as Lana made it public that she gave it away). Besides, I doubt they will go back that far and show continuity.

It most likely has to do with Lana using a clone (whether alive or not) and blowing it up to save her skin when it was her fault that she ever got involved with Lex.
