Chloe and Lex's meeting..

When Chloe and Lex met up and talked about Lana, where were they? Did they bump into each other or did they plan to meet?

I think I missed something..

Chloe and lex were at the daily planet in the area where they ship the papers(there were forklifts moving papers that said "Lionel Luthor, missing CEO Search efforts Stepped Up"). Chloe and lex just bumped into each other.

Actually i think for chloe it was a bumping into.. but i think Lex was their to bump into her on purpose.

Speaking of that meeting, why did the spoiler say

"After about two seasons of very little interaction, we finally get a scene between Chloe and Lex."

Hello did they forget about Progeny? That was alot better interaction than what we saw? I mean granted it's true they barely interacted with each other the past 2 seasons. But that was nothing compared to their scenes in the past. Hopefully they meant it as a beginning of a whole lot Chlex this season ...

agreed..it was boring ..i thought it was going to be like a real Chloe vs. Lex scene..but no....:( im thinking that it will have something to do with something in the future...maybe..hopefully :\

Eh, I think it was a set up; I think Lex was trying to suss out what Chloe knew. She didn't know anything. Cue an brand new editor who knows her full bio and hates her....

There was all sorts of sparks flying in that warehouse. Two opposing sides barking at each other. It was AWESOME.

There's nothing like a great Chlex scene where they just show how they both have nothing, but contempt for each other.

Lex is still afraid Chloe knows something and wants to expose him. That's why he asked her about Lana and what Lana might have told her.
I love that Lex sees Chloe as a threat.

And, who didn't love that it happened during the day and in another part of The DP that we've never seen before?
I really loved that. Made it seem fresh.

true,plus we saw chloe lookin at the files lex said lana took.So she obviously hasnt given up on bringin lex down she jus didnt kno nothin about lana.And lex wanted info,as u said its definitely a setup for sumthin more later

Yep. First we see Lex trying to get something out of Chloe because he thinks Lana slipped Chloe some damaging info previously. And this harks back to Progeny when Lex came to threaten her and insisted she'd never print anything if you'll recall. Suddenly we have a new editor who likes what sells papers and has no interest in journalistic integrity, laying on false complements to EDLois, comments so ridiculous only EDLois, who alwasy vastly overestimates her abilities in all things, would believe them and dissing Chloe and her work despite the fact that Chloe and not EDLois has had front page articles in the DP.

EDLois is in no way worthy of working at the DP; this is the girl who was almost fired from the tabloid for imncompetance, after all. It is Chloe who had the drive and the ability and understands what legitimate journalism, the kind of jounrnalism the DP has always stood for, is all about. The unfairness to Chloe and the obvious point that EDLois was completley unqualified (by her own admission, no less!) and underserving of a job screamed out who is the legitimate journalist here and why she's being kept from publishing. And it isn't EDLois.

It was like Chloe didn't even care about what he's saying.

I agree with this completely. I loved it. Made the Chlex in me squee, regardless if it was yet another one about Lana. They still manage to bring the sizzle.
