I just finished watching the new episode. Anyone out there? We're supposed to be able to talk about it here, but the board seems dead.
Likes? Dislikes?
I really liked it, there were some really cute scenes with Clark and Kara. I liked it a lot when he grabbed her ankle when she tried to fly away and she was really surprised. What was up with her knowing how to fly (which seems to be the hardest thing for Clark) but not knowing how to use the super hearing (one of his easiest abilities)?

I watched it too. Love the episode. I want to make sure that that's our Terance Stamp's Jor-El? Is that his voice? I couldn't be sure that it's him or else.

Yeah I wasn't sure what the deal with Chloe was either. The new editor kept saying she had lost her spark too, I thought that kind of came out of left field. Are they implying that her lost spark is related to her having so much anxiety about her meteor freak power that its affecting her life now? We all knew that Chloe couldn't become the star reporter because that's Lois's role in mythos, but I thought this storyline was pretty lame as to how they got Chloe out of journalism...

It was much better then Bizzaro, it stuck to the point of the episode and didn't jump around from story to story too much. Best intro to a new character.

What happened to Chloe? Did she get fired? Someone implied that her and Lex are working together. Could someone explain this? Did Clark say goodbye to Chloe?
If possible, could someone tell us what all the characters were up to? Clark,Chloe,Lois,Kara,Lex,Lana and Grant. Thanks

Great episode. Nice to watch a good one for a change.
I really liked the new daily planet editor...what awesome green eyes. I felt that he had good chemistry with Lois. Did not like the jabs he made at Chloe though.

Well as we all suspected Lana planned her death but no mention of who pulled her into the truck although I still say it was Clark.
She put the clone in the car then it blew up ( big surprise there right) Lex figured that one out. She tired to shoot him when he came to China but couldn't do it.
No mention of the baby, no mention of Chloe being dead and is now walking around.
Jor el warns Clark that Kara isn't there to help him, we've read that before.
Lois gets the job at the Planet even if she didn't get a picture of the ship.
Over all it was a good episode with good special effects
Sorry didn't see this thread so I copy pasted from the one I started. Chloe has lost her passion she had at the torch because now that she knows Clark's secret she would never write any story she once thrived on.
Clark was ready for his training but Jor el told him his first training was Kara, wow what a shock, training delayed for another season.

The editor was pretty cute! Nothing compared to TW... but still. I also noticed the chemistry between Lois and the editor. I really hope thats not supposed to be her love interest this season... That would so NOT but the strong positive female role model that Lois is supposed to be.

no she didnt get fired.. just made to feel like crap.
Her and lex arnt working together but they did have a scene together.. I thought it was a good scene actually. I do like their stand offish chemistry.
Lois was busy trying to find a space ship all episode. And is now working at the DP.
Lex finds Lana.
Lana's fake death explained (wiether or not it made much sence who knows).
Lots of chark and kara
communications...
Kara insulted chloe
Not sure what else you want to know really.. LOL

That's really true, I never thought about it this way, but all the stories she used to write about were freak-centric...

I have to agree with this, best intro of a new character, I really liked Kara! The interaction between her and Clark was great. Awesome episode can't wait to watch it again.

Lol we should probably post it in the "recap/summary" thread that is already out there so that anyone who feels the same can find out too.:)
So it sounds like Chloe's character is crapped on. This could be Allison's last year and TPTB are crapping all over her character? After 6 years they give Chloe a boyfriend only to have him break-up with her for Kara. Geesh, Allison must've pissed someone off. What a "nice" thank you they're giving her.

can someone pm me how lana survived I got to get up early for work in the morning then work all day and I will go crazy if I don't know I would just ask you to post the answer here but don't want to spoil those that want that as a surpirse when they watch the episode tommorow since they have more will power then me to wait and find out.

Well, this really sucks. My local channel changed it from regular thursday to wednesday night. I didn't even know that they changed it. I wish they stop doing that. They aired the premier on regular thursday but aired "kara" tonight. Now I have to wait for reruns or dvd. I feel like Bizarro now, I just want to kill those responsible...LOL.

The Clark/Kara scenes were okay.

For those who missed it on A Channel this week in canada because they didnt notice the change in scedual.. Keep in mind next week its on Thursday night at 10PM because of the elections on Wednesday.
Just thought i would put that in so you dont get fusturated again.
Thanks I didn't know that. I'm glad I have digital cable with the CW so I don't have to be a slave to A-Channel's scheduling whims... lol but I guess elections are important too.

I kinda prefer watching it on Thursdays anyway as it's my TV night. Smallville followed by Grey's Anatomy.

I love it being on Wed now, but we're going to be slaves to A-channel lose programming. I mean, who is really going to be watching the Ontario elections? Tom Welling's not running, so who cares.
It does suck that people in the U.S. that don't have any Canadian channels won't be able to talk about it till the next day. Spoilers are good, but they don't tell you everything like we would talk about on here.

Chloe has just came back from the dead, I don't think she taking it very well at all

Well I was hoping what with the show being on a day earlier in Canada I might be able to download it earlier - but you Canadians aren't into the sharing thing are you? :\

I would share but i dont have the techno knowledge on how to.. not to mention that my tv and vcr and computer are to old. LOL
I dont think its all canada its only parts of it by the way that saw it early.
And alot of people forgot or didnt realize it was on early and might of missed so its not anything to do with canadians not being sharers.

You got to remember too, Canada has 1/10th the population that the U.S. does, even if we did get it on the net for you, there would be very few people to download of of and could take longer then waiting for it to air there.
LOL! I reside in canada and I didn't even know it was on a day early. I like to watch it on the cw so I can see next weeks previews.
