has the bump in the road, turned Clark into a warewolf? is that why Lana needs the silver bullet?

I can see it now...

The bright moon shining, Clark Howling, followed by Lana/Isabelle on a broom stick cackling, then the sound of the gun in Lana's hand... "BANG."

Warewolf Clark will be no more...
