THE BOX...

wtf? what's so special about the box? i'm betting it's something either really lame or something we've already seen.

"Save the Mobsters, Save the Box"

LMAO!!!! I immediately thought of LOST with the whole BOX thing they had going... actually that could have been them calling out LOST for one reason or another......

more like the box is EMPTY .... because the mobsters used your credit cards and stole your identity!!! lol

Even worst tagline, save the 9, save the 9 from not dying

Yeah... I shook my head in disgust when I saw the preview, they seem a little desperate to get taglines going. I mean last season 'save the cheerleader' went over so well that the did that stupid 'are you on the list?' tagline. They need to not worry about that crap. All thats in the box is probably pete's wallet or somthing.

^^ or worse yet.... a piece of paper that says 'Peter' on it lol....

why would he have anything on him to tell who is he - he was just wearing pants and no shirt/shoes etc - why would someone leave his id? It doesn't make any sense..... I think that the Irish dude pulled Peter's name another way and is just suckering Peter into helping him......

Well... *Spoiler* I keep my wallet in my back pocket*/spoiler* so his lack of shirt wouldnt make a difference. I dunno about the second part, maybe they wernt intent on making sure he never figured out who he was....

lol - I meant that the people that stuck him in the box might have taken the id - unless I guess they wanted him to be found etc - maybe it's a social experiment.... I mean, someone tipped them off about that box........ I guess I just find it hard to believe that someone would chain Peter in a box and leave his id/wallet intact but took everything else save his pants and a necklace......

Yeah that "what's in the box" thing was horrible promotion. It's sad cause Heroes was pretty good at this stuff last year. I'm sure the episode'll be great, though.

Good Lord, what WAS that ??

I was like "...What ? What ?? This IS heroes I'm watching, isn't it ?
What kind of tagline is that ?"

*shakes head in utter disgust*

Personally, I think the 'box' thing is more to play with people, I think they wanted the reaction your having right now. And why wouldnt the person (who I believe to be the Haitian) want peter to rediscover who he was? Perhaps they just needed him out of the way for a little while.

Well, I have a theory...like everyone else does, right? (( perhaps minor spoilery warning?))

Anyway, we all know that Peter ended up with the Haitian and crossed paths with Kristen Bells character in the intervening months. Im thinking that Peter wanted to be mind wiped and that haitian is using Peter to accomplish some goal of his. Perhaps Peters memory made him a liability in that he could inadvertantly spill the beans on the Haitians plan? Or, perhaps Peter simply wanted to forget what he had done? Either way, I think Peter wanted the mind wipe, because, really, the Haitian would not have been able to force it on Peter, Peter is just too powerful for that.

Also, isnt Bells electricity chick supposed to work for the company as well? Hence Peter working with the haitian (and perhaps the HRG alliance?) to help bring the Company down, easily how he could have crossed her path. Plus, the Haitian giving Peter his necklace...Im thinking the people Peters going to be working for in Ireland are friends of mr haitian and he gave him that so they would know to look after him, and know he is important. Hence, they wouldnt want him to never regain his identity, simply to forget it for a short time.

Well.... that's an interesting theory but at the same time - Peter never had anything to do with the company as of yet - his storyline was about not blowing up the last time - he never really had that much interaction with the company.

But who knows - plot twists galore it may be :)

*************

As for the promotion of the BOX (lmao....groan) it has gotten people talking about it - good or bad lol....

They really should have gone a different way - why did they do that box thing.... I mean.....seriously...... I bet there's nothing in the box lol..... because once Peter helps them once, they'll want him to join them for good - he's a special kinda guy.... ;)

Except for the fact we know hes been with the haitian and kristen bells new character, and they both are involved with the Company. ;)

I think given that The Haitian is working with Noah again, we can safely assume The Haitian is no longer with The Company.

Clearly, but he is involved with them. His goal, like HRGs, I beleive, is to take down the Company

The box is discussed on the commentary at NBC Rewind.

The tagline or the object itself? Would rather just wait for the show to give us answers on it, but if they talk about the tagline on the commentary then I might have to check it out.

They discuss the actual box prop.
Somehow I missed where they did a tagline.
I rewatched it while ripping the guts out of a computer, so I missed some of it.
