Greg Grunberg on new Star Trek movie

Greg Grunberg is listed as a "possible unconfirmed" cast member for the new Star Trek movie due out in December 2008.

Of course Zachary Quinto has been cast as the new Mr Spock.

Whoever made that casting choice, no matter what the role, is a genius. I don't care if he's playing Kirk, McCoy, or Red Shirt #1. Greg Grunberg + Star Trek = awesome.

Oh stop being a whiny baby, Greg Grunberg is one of the stars of this show, and as this forum is about cast members and not necessarily about said cast members AND what they are doing in heroes, this particular post is perfectly fitting in this forum.

Look at all the threads below this one- Milo appearing in a video, someone doing some commercial stuff, Adrians youtube stuff, Zachary Quinto in Trek etc...they are all just like this one, so you should go into all of those threads and suggest they need to be moved as well. That is, if you want to be consistent.

Well, except if it was that 'take off your shirt' moment - Kirk was ripped as a youngin' lol - Greg is a teddy bear. .. nothing wrong with that... but he's a teddy bear ;) - I think he'd make a great 1st officer though :) He's got a great 'you're crazy wtf' look :)

Oh he's adoriable don't get me wrong :) I just mean that Kirk is always loosing his shirt one way or the other and I can't see that happening with Greg for whatever reason. - Too modest maybe lol not too fat... that's not what I meant by teddy bear. ;)

Yeah they had an article about it in Men's Fitness - the one with Milo on the cover - about how a lot of the Heroes cast works out and takes care of themselves :) Good for them :D

And Remember- old kirk isn't exactley the subway poster-boy either. So Greg would be a good middle-ground between the two.

Personally I thought Greg would make a reasonably good captain pike with the current casting choices going on. He's certainly lost enough weight.

I really don't see him as Pike. He could work as Kirk, but really, he looks absolutely nothing like Pike.

he probably wont be a big role since he has heroes and that takes up alot of time. he going to be in star trek cuz he always appears in something that jj produces, hes his good luck charm.
