Huh!? .....Did Clark fly?

When Clark went to the damn it looked like he was over the water and when he knocked Bizarro into the sky I think there was a red streak like you see when he superspeeds but then I saw him still standing. Anyone else see it or am I seeing things that arent there?

I was confused about those scenes at first too, but it was Martian Manhunter that was flying.

That leap at the damn was the equalivent of Clark jumping a puddle. The red streak was MMH helping Clark out. Clark punched BizClark into sky, MMH swooped in and sent BizClark packing.

I saw it too. I think the red streak was Kara. She isn't shown between leaving Lex and sitting on the water tower in the new outfit, so that could have been her in the sky since she flies.

Yeah but then how would she have known where to find Clark (who she expects to be an infant) & MMH and help out?(who she expects to be an infant)

i too forgot the MMH was helping Clark, the dam scene was very confusing (after the big punch) but i think clark is going to stick to the no flights no tights rule because i don't think he's confident enough to fly-just based on his conversation with chloe-when he was describing that bizarro can fly

is that a speculation? and if it were true i'm sure it's going to take awhile-he has to realize she's there and i'm sure it won't be apart of the getting to know u phase-once she finds out Clark can be a BDA

I did notice both of those. The one where he seems to run in mid-air into the dam, as was said, was like Clark jumping a puddle. And the red streak was Martian Manhunter. "I can help you, but this is your fight."

However, I think the former could've also been one of several instances of Clark accidentally flying without even realizing it. There's the obvious sleepflying, and when he thought he was flying in the tornado. But also those times when it showed him running at superspeed, in slow motion, and he would jump off a balcony, or jump a railing, or something, and still be going at the same speed as when he was running. I always thought that was a mistake on the editors' part (which it might've been, when thinking of physics). He wouldn't fall at the same rate as he was running, he's running way faster than gravity would pull him. But then I thought, maybe it could still work. I think he was without knowing it flying *down* while he was running, to reach the ground faster.

Or when he was fighting that phantom (the one played by that wrestler) at the contruction site. When the phantom threw him into that crane, and he blasted back out. He did not just hop out and fall to the ground. He jetted out of there and slammed into the ground in half a second, almost like he was... superspeed running, but in midair, and down. Or, "flying."

Clark could probably fly any time he wants, he just doesn't have the balls to do it consciously yet.

But yeah, when I saw the red streak, I geeked out and did think Clark was flying, because I forgot about all about Martian Manhunter. But then it zoomed back in on him still standing in the busted up dam, just having uppercut punched Bizarro. Which, by the way, was what I was anticipating, and was frikkin' awesome.

I don't know where you guys are getting this "sunny side of Mars" thing (especially since Mars is farther from the Sun than Earth...), unless this is some joking around thing I'm not catching onto. I figured he just threw him into the Sun itself.

The "sunny side of Mars" thing came from Chloe, and it told us, the viewers, that MM and Clark's plan was for Clark to uppercut him and for MM to take him to the sunny side of Mars. But yeah Mars is further than Earth, I quickly corrected that brain fart before you posted, luckily. :P But he was taken to Mars because that's where MM is from, and he likely has some method of keeping an eye on him there.

I almost peed my pants when I thought it was Clark. LOL! That would have ROCKED!!! But then Clark was still sitting there and I remembered their plan... MM is awesome. :)

Yeah I am not too sure about he sunny side of mars either. Was Chole just joking about that. Did Chole really know what MM and Clark's plan was to get rid of Bizarro.

Well I guess watching it one more time will not hurt. I am already up to 4 times on the uppercut scene. still debating if it was Kara or MM that flew Bizarro away.

i dont think chloe even knew MM even existed, remember clark never really spoke about him to her, and MM hasnt been called by his name yet

it was MM clark knew he could turn to him for help and it wasnt until the scene with MM and clark that the viewers find out who he thought of to ask for help

so kara never grabbed bizarro
