I voted for all but Lana's alive in Shanghai. You know I don't dislike Lana or Clana, but that scene was out of place (and pace) with the rest of the episode. If she'd been in a different disguise then the wig and we'd gotten even an inkling of how she survived, I would've loved that scene too.

The incredible Special effects. When the dam burst and clark stopped it with his heat vision was sweet. Even Bizarro's heat vision was sweet.

This was really tough. I was going to vote for the "Clark proud of his humanity" or "Bizarro grabs Lois" option but I had to go with Lex not betraying Clark. I think he is officially becoming my favorite character. I just love him.

I just don't get why they don't try a little harder with Lana scenes. They're aware of the fan backlash against Lana, that's been clear for a while now. They could easily make sure that Lana scenes stand out by making them have relevance other than "look Lana in a wig" but they don't. It's very odd.

I had to vote for all but Lana alive in Shang-hai. It's nice, but not what made the epi special for me.

IMO....

Other than that I loved the whole episode through and through! The best part was ALMOST making it an hour without seeing Lana!! Less Lana! More Shelby!! :D

All the special effects were awesome, the battle between Bizarro and Clark were superb, the Clark and MM conversation was amazing, the Bizarro and Lois scene was to die for, and all the Lois and Clark scenes were excellent.

I enjoyed all the scenes Clark had with MM, and those where he seemed more and more open to accept his destiny. I saw a more grown-up Clark Kent, and I hope it'll stick for the entire season.

Seeing Lana again was the highlight of the episode for me. Everything else was boring, although I am not a huge fan of the action scenes or Chloe or Lois... so there ya' go.

I wasn't too pleased with Lana's wig, but when she took it off she looked HOT as hell! I am soooo looking forward to a Clana reunion. Those two have a connection even when they are oceans apart :)

I would have to agree with the majority here. I liked all but "lana in shanghai. Just did not fit in with the episode, especially when I believe everyone expected her to be alive anyway. I would have rather seen where lionel was dragged off to.

THE ABSENCE OF LANA!!!

I am so tired of that strenuous neverending romance. It was much better without it. Just grieving with his closest friends. Rock on Lois and Chloe. Lana, stay in Shanghai.

But other than that, surprisingly well written dialogue, with Clark's reflections on how he related to Bizarro. I'm not used to good scripts in Smallville. That was terrific.

And I don't care about all comic book nerds throwing a fit about how inaccurate this Bizarro was. I liked him, and wouldn't mind seeing him come back. One of the spoilers seemed to allude to Blue Kryptonite, what else would it be used for?

However, Kara's appearance at the end seemed rather random and thrown in. And what's up with the bracelet?

Clark's sunshine powered super punch on Bizarro sends him packing.

Lana is alive in Shanghai.

The incredible special effects; the water rushing from the dam, Bizarro, Kara flying, etc.

The loft conversation between Clark and the Martian Manhunter.

Chloe waking up in the morgue, alive.

Clark is proud of his humanity yet accepts that he is not human.

Bizarro's butt grab on Lois -- and her reaction.

Clark and Chloe reaffirm their special relationship.

Kara! Supergirl is supafly.

:)

Bizarro buttgrabbing "Lois" was stupid and had no place except to show "Lois" is clueless and has no investigative skills whatever. SHe went off to find out info on Lex instead of staying with her cousin who might die when she couldn't possibly get anything out of Lex then encounters Clark who is not only out of character but dressed differently and doesn't question it at all?

The Clark-Bizarro fights were great but I'm not interested in Kara and having her fly but not Clark is lame and just plain wrong. And yes, couldn't we have had one ep pretending Lana is gone? That would have been so nice.

The ep was much better than I'd expected overall but really maybe this should have been a two hour premiere?

How the hell did it show that? She could do nothing for Chloe and she thought Lex could provide insight as to what happened based on her conversation with Clark 2 seconds earlier.

I think my favorite part was when Chloe told Clark "Youve got to get on that!" in reference to him not flying.

I also really liked Chloe's reaction to waking up in a morgue. Priceless.

The dialouge was great between Clark and Chloe. But did you realize it was taken straight out of Star Wars? In AOTC, Anakin and Padme have the almost same conversation on Tatooine in the Lars' garage after Anakin slaughters the Tuskin Raiders. And than like a cherry on top Chloe utters the words, "Galaxy far far away." This was heaven for a Star Wars geek like me.

I as a comic book fan did not mind that Bizarro was inacurate. I love this Bizarro. I think he is a great villain. I love the fact that he knows every twisted little naughty thought in Clark's head.

Kara's bracelet, I'm sure, has some significance to Krypton. I'm sure we'll find out in "Kara".

"Even with all the animosity between them Lex still would not betray Clark."

This. Clex is more important to me than anything else on the show and I'm glad that Lex still cares for Clark in some way.

I think the only thing they wanted to show was that she was alive. I think they were saving the rest for another episode. Frankly, I was glad they kept her role in this epi down. Maybe they will only show glimpses of her in the next epi too.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was action-packed, relevant, tied up some things, and set up some things for the coming season. I liked that they took the time to have Clark talk with people about what was going on. I loved his stance on humanity, and his place. I really loved his realization that he has been trying to hard to be human, because that makes me think he is going to try to embrace his Kryptonian side more rather than avoiding it. I think that should be a big theme of this year, to explore that side of himself.

I loved the look on Lex's face when he watched the dam break. I thought Kara looked beautiful, and could see why Lex thought she was an angel. I like that Lex is still struggling to decide which side he is on. I believe he has crossed over, but I'm glad he will still have periods of ambiguity, for the same reason that I liked Lex before who was good with a bad streak. It makes him more human, more real. I just love MR's portrayal of Lex.

Great action, great effects, great dialogue with the characters. SV usually does very well with thier premiers, so I hope this season follows suit. ;)

I voted for Lex not betraying one BDA to another BDA :)

But really the one thing that I ound really cool was time...

But for the most part it was good. I like the fact the clocks and watches were pretty close to being set at the right time.
Time of Death 13:49(1:49pm for those that don't know 24hour time.)
Approx. 2:10pm in the Morgue scene.

See? It's not so easy when Mexican food is involved.

I think Bizarro is now one of my favourite episodes in the series. Every fight sequence and the special effects were awesome and were a step up from what was usually shown in the past. Bizarro destroying that guy with his heat vision was so bad ass. The flying effects were cool. Heat vision evaporating tidal wave was awesome. And as a guy I am comfortable saying that it is a nice thing to see that Tom Welling has gotten his abs again (small scene of Bizarro healing himself with kryptonite). If you look back at Aqua in season 5 u see that he was kinda chubby. Overall a fantastic episode (though the people on tv.com who purposely give Smallville bad reviews piss me off and they can F (_) C !< themselves) and I hope Kara will be as good or even better next Thursday. :D

Very cool.

Clark's powers overal in this episode. I mean, the superhearing scene was just awesome, it was because of Chloe's death motivated him to pull off that power on such a huge scale, he practically scanned every single sound on the planet to find Chloe, just proves how much he cares for her.

Also the heat vision scene, easily most powerful one he's done lol, would of taken some serious heat to evapourate a tidal wave lol.

This beats the ZOd episode 100 times over. Yes I vote for the Lois but GRAP!!! couldn't resist. But no way did I believe gay ass Lex ass bad ass Zod, he failed miserably pulling that off. Bizzarro ruled. The writing was better, the SFX were better, andthe fight scenes were better. Loved all of this premier, best since EXILE which was til now the best.

I loved everything except Lana & Kara.

Lana - Don't get me wrong, I don't mind Lana at all, I can take her or leave her, but she was revealed to soon. Lost all suspense there.
Kara - I loved Kara "angel" in the water, but I could have done without the last bit.
Clark & Chloe - Loved it.
Lois - She makes me laugh (In a good way). I love her.
Lex - He totally surprised me with turning himself in.
Clark & MM - Bring it on. I want to see more.
Great premier!
