C'mon guys, that was the lamest battle ever...and supposedly he was stronger than Clark at that point sucking out all the Kryptonite juice! A little exposure to the sun is not going to get rid of him.
It shouldve been where Clark grabs him and flys up, closer to the sun and they do a little air fighting and he looses his power and that oreo cookie guy comes in and helps...
this fight scene was lame ohhh bizzaro hit me and im gonna do one punch and kill him...blah blah blah!

Not I. One of the best fights of the series. Clark and Bizarro aren't gonna duke it out with words, Bizarro isn't gonna outwit his better half a la Braniac. It's all about brawn with him, so Clark used his brains *and* his brawn. Perfect IMO.

I was afraid it was going ot be, but it turned out to be the best fight scene ever on Smallville.

It was great to see Clark using his head for something other to grow hair on. He also threw some serious punches in this one.

If sun is Bizarro's weakness, wouldn't it act quickly like Clark's weakness...
It perhaps could have been better, but show me a truly better fight scene on Smallville...

It was good because Clark used his brains, too. I just thought for all the K juce Bizarro sucked up he would be a little stronger. I mean, he has been outside before in the sun. It didn't make him that week. The fight was a little short, IMO.

The sun didn't weaken him as quickly as GreenK did Clark, simple as that. It's one of those comic book logic things. If you want a real world explanation, you could say that since the sun is so far away, it was really barely touching him as far as weakening him.

In order to do some decent air fighting, Clark probabaly would have had to fly. When he air fought Zod, it was more "air falling".
I thought Bizarro would be lame. Really lame.
But I think they handled it well. I didn't love it, but it was good nonetheless.

Don't really see any points proven. Heck, I don't even see any real "points" other than "that was teh lame". There's lots of comic book logic in Superman. Heck, kryptonite has effected him differently from different distances many many times, even in the comics, without even going into Smallville. Comic book logic is a part of suspension of disbelief. If you want something to complain about jump on the we hate the wig bandwagon or something. This debate is nonsensical and I'm seeing no real arguments or points being made from you.

Look at how easily Clark beats Bizarre...and even ZOD too...

I liked the Titan fight in Combat better, but Tom's moves in the Bizarro fight were much better choreographed (like the kick Bizarro gave him).
The ultimate fight would be Clark vs. his Kal-El side (seen in Crusade). That is the fight I'm waiting to see.

It's not the one punch, its the accumlative use of his powers is what weakens BizClark. He absorbed a massive amount of KryptoRadiation, then expelled that power by punching Clark into the support columns of the dam. Then the punch thrown while standing in the sunlight all this is draining him of his power. Clark was just evening things out by staying in the light and punching him skyward.

im just saying its lame because you would think that "the strongest" villain from the phantom zone would be more of a challenge then simply punching him up to the sky i know MM helped out later on, but it didn't feel like it was a challenge.
Since the sun is far away, you would think it would slowly eat away at Bizzaro power, however its more instant. It is like when someone puts kryptonite in Clarks pocket. The effect of the sun shouldve been slowly affecting Bizzaro not one big thing.
man i got 13 posts...unlucky number

Yeah, but Martian Manhunter came up with the plan. so.....

bad? well compared to the Zod fight this was Ali vs. Frasier!!

MM suggested the plan, but Clark figured it out after MM suggested it. He just told Clark to realize that he has another strength other than his humanity, and Clark immediately knew it was the sun. Clark figured out that Bizarro was weakening in the sun. Then they put their heads together and both collaborated to get rid of him. Nothing wrong with two heads being better than one, even Superman can't do everything alone.

i have often thought that most of clarks' "battle" scenes were way too brief before. the phantom zoners from last season including "titan" were just over way too quick. with "bizarro" there were two big fights. the special effects were at their best. c'mon how about clark healing in the sunlight right before he kicked his ass? best fight hands down. literally.

But it seemed like J'onzz was just waiting for Bizarro to to be launched up there! But yeah, it was a collaboration. They must of planned it all in advance.

Exactly, they had a plan, and Clark was a part of coming up with that plan. Clark didn't just fight until he found something to use to his advantage this time. He fought with his brains and a plan and executed it perfectly.

I have to say the Bizarro fight sucked absolutely no good action. The best part about this premier was Kara flying, now that is bic.

The fight was brief but acceptable. I do believe that sunlight gradually weakens Bizarro like MD said. Even with the face distortion, Bizarro still flew and was able to kick Clark into a rock.

Why is everyone saying "the" fight and that it was "brief"? Did people forget that he fought him once in the finale, once at the beginning of this episode, and yet again at the end, and he's still not totally defeated? "The" fight spanned the entire episode and will continue later on. How is that brief?
And you may not be the only one, bluecheeze, but you certainly aren't in the majority on this one. The fight was great and most of us have realized that. Or should say "fights" since people keep forgetting that fight at the end wasn't the only fight.

i find this funny. people continue to complain about the action scenes and i know in the past i have too, but this wasnt a bad fight at all. i liked it to be honest. the only disapointing thing about the fight was that i wished clark had flown and not MM

The problem with major smallville fights is there are short like HELL , they should at least fight for 5 minutes , I mean come on , 1 punch from each , thats so lame..
This is a big thing that smallville should work on ... Titan vs Clark fight was WAAAAY better.

The only real difference in this and the Titan vs. Clark fight is that this one was split up into a bunch of smaller fights instead of one long fight.
