CK in "Bizarro" acted like Superman. You can tell in his face. Telling MM what he felt and what he thought was right. How we knew he cared for humanity and he was gonna continue being CK. How he acted fighting Bizz. A bit cocky at one part (The superpunch) but very nice. Anyone? Input?

I totally agree, it was a very different and good change for the better with Clark. He was acting more like a man. I hate to say it, but getting rid of Mrs. Kent was a good thing.

I don't think it was because of Mrs. K. I think he was just under a lot of stress. Loosing Lana, almost loosing Chloe... People step up their game under extreme circumstances. But he really was Superman-ish in this epi. I hope the trend continues.

Don't know if it was getting rid of Mrs. Kent. There was more of Superman in Clark than there has been for a long time. Him not apologizing for his humanity. The nod he gave the kid after clearing up the water. (That was just had Superman written all over it) He didn't back down to anyone, not even MM.
Glad to see it, hope it sticks.

Yes Clark was being more aggressive and maybe with Lana gone he will break the cycle.

I did see a more mature Clark, and hopefully this will stick for the entire season and we don't get the emo boy back.

Papa Kent would be so proud. Notice how we see less "Im sorry dont look at me weird" scenes. GOD. I HATE THOSE. they usually happen with Lana. But w/e

I am glad to hear that the season started with ClarkMan acting more like the superMan he is supposed to be, just sorry that I missed the episode. Sounds pretty good.

Let's HOPE SO!!!
i like that he finally got his balls back, when he said Lana's death made him realize that no matter how much he tries to live his life like he's human he will never be and he can't let himself get caught up in thinking he is or that he can ever have that kind of life that will always be surrounded by those he cares about.... he said somethin like that.

So in another thread I soooo thought MM was Martha some how...
Anyway, (said with dignity) I loved CK in this ep. I hope he continues in this direction too!

It's too much to hope for.
I have a feeling we'll see the BDA again.

Don't forget the heroic nod to the kid after he evaporated the water from the dam. That was just a perfect cue for saluting, spouting some cheesy one liner about how to be safe and stay in school, raising one fist and flying off into the sky, cape clapping behind him.
...If he was flying yet, the pansy.

Actually, I'm old enough to read forum rules, unlike you. Grow a brain, read the rules.

Agreed. Though I'm still extremely puzzled during the barn scene with MM at the end, because he said something about him being weak because he "cared too much"? I mean, earlier he said he was proud of his humanity, and rightfully so. That's a huge writing mistake IMO.

Bizarro is very much like Zod, which have smart, heroic, strong and decisive Clark to kick off the season. I definitely hope it sticks as well.

This is the kind of Clark I'm expecting to see throughout season 7 and until the series finale. But for some reason (gee, like we don't know what that reason is), I don't think that's gonna happen.

I thought Tom did a good job doing the dual role and making both characters have their distinctive traits.
It just makes it more disappointing that he will not take the role in the JLA movie. Watching last night, I think he could handle playing a more mature superman.

I liked when he saved the kid, his dog and dad from the flood of water. After he turned, nodded to the child and super speeded off.

Let's just hope Mrs. LL stays out of the picture and out of his life, or at the very least, she just can no longer get a good grip on his g@nads!

Chris Reeve would be proud. The scene at the dam where CK saves the fisherman and boy, then gives the slight nod to the boy and streaks off was pure Chris/Superman ;)

Agreed. I got a bit misty in that moment, actually, it was so Superman-ish and so very Chris.
