Lex and Kara - Isn't it How Lex and CLark Met?

To paraphrase a line from "metamorphosis" of season one, what is it about Luthors, Kryptonians, and water? Clark first met Lex when they both wound up in the drink under Loeb Bridge, and Clark had to fish Lex out of his car. Now we have a similar scenario, only on a larger scale. Lex's clueless as to his savior's identity and his belief that it was an angel that saved him is the only difference. However, Lex questioning everything he's thought was right parallels how his dead end became a new beginning in the pilot. Anyone agree?
