There were some impressive displays of power in this episode. Has anyone else noticed how much stronger Clark is, even compared to last season . . . he seemed to step it up to a new level in the season premiere

When Clark vaporized the water with his heat vision I got goosebumps. Then when he beat Bizarro's ass with a super punch, my jaw hit the floor.

I loved how they enhanced his powers, I love how they also did the superhearing too. Love how they showed him hearing everything at once and then he picked up on Chloe yelling for help. Very Superman-like

Clark was as powerful......it was in the same day still (time frame) and not far from the Titan epi. I think TPTB just realized from our comments last season....that when Clark hits someone with all his might they would go further than the 6 feet that Titan went last season. I believe this was a corrective measure to re-align Clarks power to what is actually is......in our eyes.

Yes, Clark is getting pretty damn powerful, his strength seems to have increased quite a bit. Either that or he doesn't really hold back anymore.

I wouldn't say he's much stronger this time, just he's realizing when he has to step it up, just like his cagematch fight.

I wouldn't say he got more powerful. How he got that power punch was clearly result from the energy he absorbed from the sun coz the sun boosted up his power! So that's what i think, i guess.

That's what I think. Before Titan, I don't think Clark really knew how to throw a punch. He certainly wouldn't have needed to really dig down to fight the FOTWs. He lost the physcial fights with Zod and the Seattle bone-eater guy. It wasn't until Titan that he really unleashed, and won. But he's definitely been packing a bigger punch since then. :)

possible but as with the movies things like that are overlooked.

And the one advantage to Clark it seems is that he can absorbe sun light for a short period allowing him to leave the sunlight and temporarily have his power boosted.

A good example of this is in Superman Returns where he flew close to the sun absorbed alot of power and then used the stored power to lift the artificial continent.

Every year TPTB have amped up Clark's power. I see no reason why S7 would be any different.
