I think they should have shown what happened to lionel though...

I felt bad for lex at the end of the episode i know he's a jerk and stuff but he really cared about lana.
Plus he is getting blamed for a murder he didn't do.
I can't wait until clana is bacK!

and it will be HOTT! :eek:

Yes, I felt bad for lex too. He really did, or does love her.

What do you think he's going to do when he sees his "Angel" later on down the road with Clark? I mean Kara, not Lana. :D

He's either going to know somethings up with clark, or he's going to think he was just hallucinating.

Loved that clark tried to bury his emotions for lana, and be a rock. That's exactly what he would do.

LOOOOOOOVED Laura Vandervoort as Kara. She looked awesome! Can't wait to see more.

How about Chloe! I wonder how many chlark fans out there had heart failure over that commercial break. I was making jokes through the whole thing, and when it went to the commercial break my wife gave me hell for ruining her final moment. I knew better ;)

All in all, I loved it, all of it, and can't wait until next week. This is the first time I've ever gotten to see a show on it's air date. It really feels great to not have to wait a year. :D

It was pretty good except for one little detail. LANA IS ALIVE, NO. She is so done as a character it makes no sense at all that she is alive. This may be the last year as it is do we have to end it with Clark whining about Lana AGAIN!!

That scene with Bizzaro and Lois was priceless! And then when she confronted Clark at the end about it! omg!

I was a little dissapointed baout the Bizzaro/Clark fight. I guess I was excpecting more. Seemed a little too easy to be honest...just one punch? oh well.

I agree about Lionel, I kinda wondered what happened to him. Guess we'll find out in a week.

So yay! Chloe and Lana are alive! I kinda figured. But I'm a bit upset about Lana. Not that I wanted her to die,. but I was hoping for more Clark and Lois action. Guess I'll have to put up with more Clana stuff. Just hope it doesn't last aaallll season. I kind of want a change of things. After 6 years.....geez!

Kara looks amazing! Just like how I pictured. They even made her sad like she's supposed to be. I worried that they were just gonna try to make her seem all bada$$.

So overall, me happy!!!!:D

I was wondering if someone else was going to say it first, as I wasn't sure if we were allowed.

Lana being alive was the only thing I didn't like about the episode. Just before it was revealed to us that she's still alive, I was saying Man, It's been nothing less than refreshing to have an entire episode be lana free! Just as free came out of my mouth we saw her, and I slumped in my chair. Another ending with lana and clark so close, yet so far away. :p

MR is such a good actor,
My guess is he thought it was a hullusination,
only because it has happened before in season 3 (i think it was season 3, could be 4.)

I thought AM did a fantastic job in this episode.
Her fake cry is so realistic and is really convincing.

TW was amazing as usual.
He pulls off the role of Clark Kent so well.
The way no one else could, seriously.
I do love how he was trying to be a rock also!

Can't wait til next week!

Really? You really think thats good crying/acting? I thought her acting was as horrid as in Freak and every time shes been given anything emotional. AM relies on the fact her character is written ten times better than she can act she's lucky.

As a Fan of smallville I really have to say the premiere was a piece of dog crap and was a huge let down com-pared to everything else we have gotten in the past.

The only good part to this episode is that lana lang/KK looked hot as hell when she pulled that wig off and a bit with it on too.

The effects were worse than what we got in season 1, which is pretty bad, but luckily next week should be much better.


Might I mention that TW in this episode was worse than his normal bland, dull, dry self even when he was given the bad boy parts he usually is decent at. Its like everyone in this episode acting wise just didn't care.

The MM/Clark dialog in this episode was beyond god awful and brought everything down every time MM spoke. the yellow sun thing was just out of the blue compare to smallville in the past there could have been a way better way to deal with getting that known.

Only thing that has me interested is Kara, Lionel and Lana, which is pretty sad considering its supposed to be about clark.

Super fantastic episode. Hope this keeps up for the whole season, more action less soapy sap.

hmm... I didn't think that at all.
I thought everyone did a great job.
Clark is not dull, he's a farm boy, not a bad boy.
I wasn't expecting him to be at all "energetic" or "happy" in this episode, he just "lost" Lana and Chloe and then at to fight bizzaro.


I have always thought AM was a good fake cryer, always.
Maybe thats just my opinion though.
I also think shes a wonderful actress.
I thought her acting was amazing in this premiere.
She did good at playing the role of chloe especially in this episode.
