Nice disguise. (sarcasm) I loved the episode but that was a plain old bad disguise.

Yeah, completely agree with you. I, for one, thought the episode was awesome, but when she walked on in that scene, it just cheapened the whole damn thing...but I still enjoyed the episode.

The whole zooming in on her on the street was just bad CGI.
I didn't like the blonde wig either, but I assume it's because her hair is so dark, they wanted a drastic change. And blonde is the farthest thing from dark brown.
I was hoping for red.

I agree. It was a very lame way of forcing her into the episode.

Her apartment sure did look like the Talon apartment... but I guess without Luthor money that and the cheap wig was all she could afford.

I don't understand why they had to show her in this episode. There's just no point to it, unless they want people to wonder how in the world that she ended up in China. It was out of place though, IMO, given the other things that were in the episode.

It wasn't bad CGI it was just another way of zooming. They do it all the time, Smallville's not the first show to use that method of zooming. (It might be CGI, what I'm saying is it's supposed to look that way, it's a different style.)

They showed Lana to let the audience know she's alive and to have them spec how she survived or what she's doing in China.

Ruined the whole sequence with the Kelly Clarkson song. Cheesy wig, cheesy zoom-in, cheesy green screen China, oy. -_-;

That was the worst disguise ever. It screamed "Come on! Notice me! Notice me!" In China of all places where most people have dark hair, she pulls a Britney and wares that ridiculous wig and that red dress. She was like a sore spot. It was so lame, and cheap. They could have dressed her in conservative dark clothing, maybe a hood and red wig (that would have been awsome), but that stupid blond thing. Than she takes the wig off so that some of the slower people would notice that it actually is Lana. Wow.

I didn't mind them showing Lana, in fact I'm glad they did. I thought the wig just didn't work lol

I didn't either. But she looked amazing when she took of the wig and the camera just focused on her face.

I agree. The scene just looked forced. I think it would have made more sense to have that scene in the next episode.
I didn't like this episode at all...
