Tom's voice as Bizarro

I didn't think they would change his voice at all for Bizarro. I like it!

Well they morph it obviously. Sounds alright thought when he was just talking to Lex asking him to help him kill Clark

I just think he altered his pitch.

Like the guy who did Tidus' voice in Final Fantasy 10. His voice was higher and more whiny when he spoke, but when he did the narration, it was much deeper.

I also think that Phantom shoving his hand into the lawyer killing him was a dead giveaway to Lex that it wasnt Clark...

The whole package was totally sexy. I'm so glad Bizarro will be back because he is just smoking hot. I think he is even hotter than Kal-El and Red K Clark. It was awesome. I personally think this episode may be Tom's best acting yet! He had such a range of emotions to pull off:

1.) Superman-Saving the day, heroic, with that little wink in his eye when he saved the kid, and other nice, proud touches like that,

2.) Total grief about Lana's death, but holding it all in, pushing aside his feelings for the betterment of the world (tough to pull off and make it come across realistically, but I think Tom hit the gold on it),

3.) The hatred still inside him that he felt when he thought Lex killed Lana,

4.) Pride in his humanity,

5.) A sense of loss and a greater calling,

6.) Being Bizarro.

All of these things in an episode. Tom could've botched any of them...could've made Bizarro too "Red K" Clark, could've under-played or over-played the sadness, etc. But he struck just the right balance.

(and to keep in topic with this thread, yes, the voice was great. I was surprised it was Tom! It definitely was him though! Really great character work there).

I don't know, on the old V movies, the aliens voices always intimidated me. The Borg voices also intimidated me. Bizarro's voice on Tom Welling only makes me go:

when I first heard bizzaro talk I was like woa deeper vioce I loved it it was Hot and sexy and TW played him really well I have to agree this has to be his best acting in all the seasons he played Clark. and I think that was his real voice it was just deeper and slower talking I loved it. :)

I absolutely loved they modified clark's voice for bizarro.
If that was Tom Wellington alone without digital enhancement I would be impressed.
Either way it was a great touch.

The voice change was subtle but effective. I liked that it was just not Clark 2 and there was some change. I wish they would have shown the cracked face more, especially when around Lex.

in fact i would say that they did not deepen the voice but slowed it down a little which also brings down the pitch and gave it more gravity and a little of the cartoon feel TW probably said his lines a little quicker than normal to give Bizarro normal speed mouth movements...

Actually...it would have been easier for post-prod to drop it a few keys than to slow it down and have Tom talk fast.

The technology is easy for altering voice key at normal speed these days.

he he it was hot :P Yeah, I think it's mainly his lower voice. You can kinda hear the same tone with his normal voice at times, just not all the time lol. That crack in the face was abit freaky lol, at first I thought it was just there to made him look abit more monster like- give a monster side.

If anyone else watched Knight Rider then you'll probably agree, but I think Tom's voice for Bizarro (computer enhanced or not) sounded almost exactly like Garth Knight's voice from Knight Rider. Anyone agree?

I noticed the voice change as well and thought it was a wonderful but subtle touch.

He sounded...dangerous and (kinda) sexy as Bizarro. Like you couldn't tell if he was going to kill you or kiss you :lol: .

One of my few complaints on TW is that his voice is not deep enough so I liked the timbre of Bizarro's voice however they did it and would like to see someone Tom's size talk a bit more manly than kidly.
