View Full Version : Easy there, Smallville!
I wonder how Clark is going to explain being at the hospital yet being at Lex's mansion and grabbing Lois' behind! Wowee ... that scene was pretty hot, though! The slap looked pretty weak, but it was acted really well. Lois looked really uncomfortable, while Bizarro was all ... hot. *ahem*
Yeah, that scene made me laugh (in a good way)! :rotfl:

That's because Bizarro is base emotions...survival, sex drive, etc.
He is made to be *not* human, therefore they made him to be savage, whereas Clark is polite and caring

Oh, come on! Clark is NOT a pansy! he's looking out for the safety of the fairer sex. I mean, he can't use his... uhh... manhood of steel casually. He could kill someone.

Loved it, but was a little irked they cut Lois' expresion after Bizarro left the room. In the director's cut she was almost smiling to herself. Oh, well...

I thought the whole scene was unnecessary. Did we really need to see BizClark grabbin Lois' ass? What purpose did it serve?

Well ... I thought it brought in some humour, which I like to see sometimes in 'Smallville'.
Also, I think it really showed the difference between Clark and Bizarro (especially when you keep in mind that Clark was comparing himself with Bizarro at the end of the episode). It shows that Clark would never be the impolite, grabbing-your-ass-for-my-pleasure kind of guy (err, well, unless he's on Red K).
I think the purpose it served was to further show the diffence between Bizarro and Clark ... and to instigate some humour, and to bring in some more Lois time!

I agree. The scene seemed really out of place.

We know Clark wouldn't be that type of ass grabbin guy. It's been firmly established. Again the dialog between MMH and BizClark should've been enough to show Clark is diffrent that BizClark. The ass grab scene wasn't necessary. I don't want it to sound like I'm a prude or anything...hell I wanna grab Erica's ass to.LOL I just don't think it was necessay.

I think that Lois' line at the house to Clark about the ass grab was the funniest line of the episode.

I don't think its purpouse was to show us that Clark is the polite guy, because we've known that for the past 6 seasons. I think the purpouse of that scene was to show though Bizarro Clark's twisted desires that he would have never let out even on Red K. On Red K he kissed Lois because that is what she wanted, too. Bizarro just grabed her and did whatever he felt like, because deep down in a sick little twisted part of Clark's brain he wants to grab Lois and show her he is not the dumb farm boy. Also very deep deep down inside the twisted part of Clark's brain he wants to dominate Lois and show her he is a man that desires her sexually.
On top of that it was comic relief, because the episode was really dark with all the deaths and lifechanging chioices.

I loved that scene, It totally rocked. Also if you notice though Lois was alittle slow on the reaction to slap him. Like she liked it but then again when she turned around she realized it was "Clark" and she couldn't enjoy it, so she slapped him to cover up that she liked it.

I guess the scene seemed out of place to me because I didn't like the fact that Lois left the hospital while the doctors were working on Chloe. (I think that was the scene immediately prior to the Bizarro/Lois scene at Lex's.) So I was still kind of in shock when she left, and then when she was at Lex's, I thought why the hell are you running all over town when your cousin is near death? The first 15 minutes of the show felt choppy to me.

She went to the manison to find answers to figure out why Chloe was unconscious. Remember the whole thing about "Maybe one of Lex's man did something to Chloe when I was knocked out"

Bizois is fun. It was more fun in the director's cut, out of context. But still fun in the final version. Much needed humor for such an emotionally harrowing episode.

I think the purpose was to show that Clark really has the hots for that body of hers. Clark always restrains himself and Bizarro doesn't. Believe me, Lois is doing more thinking about Clark as well.

that's exactly what I thought. Bizarro just acted on Clark's feelings about that Clark has for Lois. Like Bizarro said he got every last twisted thought Clark has and he wasn't going to make the same mistakes Clark made. Bizarro has and will always have a crush on Lois. I remember in the cartoon Bizarro went looking for his own Lois Lane

Okay, I can go with that. At the time I didn't find it funny, but Lois' comment to Clark at the end of the show was pretty good.

Shouldn't Lois have broken her hand when she slapped Bizarro?
Mischael12

Its an on and off thing with that. I think its cause the slap is lose, the same way that a drunk person is more likely to survive an accident than a person who isn't.
I forgot the direct physics behind it though.

I dunno, Bizarro may have all of Clark's memories etc but he is a different person altogether with his own thoughts and desires - his actions are his own and not Clark's. I saw it as Bizarro's lust for Lois and it had nothing to do with Clark's feelings for Lois.
Bizarro said something along the lines of I can't believe you've been in front of him (Clark) all this time and he hasn't seen it.

What purpose did the scene serve? I think it was threefold.
#1 To show that Bizarro was there looking for Lex and kryptonite
#2 To show that Lois's anger toward Lex is building and she plans to confront him. (and, to answer the person who questioned how she could leave Chloe, that shows Lois is always a woman of action and can't bear to sit by and do nothing--that's how she holds it together when she is emotionally distraught).
#3 What many of you have said--To show even more of the fact Bizarro is the opposite of Clark and acts solely on his immediate desires and instincts.
I completely disagree with those who say the scene was meaningless--it was related to the plot of the current episode AND future episodes (Lois vs. Lex).

I just wondered why Bizarro left the mansion with nothing though. I mean he had Clark's memories so wouldn't he have remembered that Lex has meteor rocks that he stole from china in his secret vault? That would have tided him over for a bit.
I think it must have been a plot device why he left after man handling Lois. If he had ripped the door off the vault and got all pumped up on Kryptonite, Clark would have had some serious explaining to do to Lois at the end of the episode :\
