SO IS THERE MORE ANTICIPATION FOR THE SEASON SEVEN PREMERE THAN THERE WAS A YEAR AGO FOR SEASON SIX? ABOUT THE SAME? WAS THE WHOLE GREEN ARROW AND JIMMY OLSON ADDITIONS A BETTER PUBLICITY IDEA OR IS SUPERGIRL? DISCUSS!!!!!

honestly i think i was more hyped for season 6. it had better promotions and there were more spoilers and since DeKnight did the premiere there was a lot of stuff on his blog for fans to interact with. This season is starting to sound good but just as of recently. a couple weeks ago we barely had anything to view or read about. I think supergirl will be good but the promotion for her is all sex appeal and barely anything about her being part of the comic books. green arrow from the begining they kind of started with the whole thing with starting the justice league and stuff. jimmy wasnt really hyped that much and honestly he was kind of annoying the first first few episodes.

i agree with the promotions being better for season six with all those promo shots of the cast being made and etc. all we've really seen is the supergirl stuff with the fhm cover going on and stuff. season six they were really trying to satisfy different types of fans of the show from the love triangle to justice league/green arrow stuff. all we see for seven so far is supergirl you are right. i blame the cw lol.

Not hyped much.

Every year before season 6, I had a big Smallville event night, actually for every episode. Fancy dinner, snacks, ice cold Dr. Pepper, circus clowns, piņatas, petting zoo....... OK, got carried away, but sometimes pizza.
This year I am not expecting much, but I am looking forward to seeing Kara and to find out who the "other JLAer" is coming to Smallville.
So no big festivities, just a bag of popcorn and the kid's mouth taped shut.

I am really hyped for this season premiere....but I think that the CW did a better job of promoting the show last season....I mean come on....sometimes you dont even know that SV is even on the CW....they are more interested on Beauty and the Geek...and all of their other shows....not to be mean or anything but lets see some more SV!...

But they are promoting the heck out of the season 6 DVD.

This is a hard question for me to answer...although I am disappointed with the lack of fanfare over this season thus far...I am happy with the story at this point.

Last year, I was getting more excited by a more aggressive ad campaign but with the atrocious turn that Season 5 took post Cyborg and the mess that Vessel left in its wake...I was horrified at the prospects of what Season 6 might bring and how on Earth TPTB could fix their proverbial mess

As usual I'm never around to watch this, but I dunno if I'll be chomping at the bit as I've been in the past

I am way more excited than I was last year. Each year gets better!! I've already watched season six again. I can't wait!! Phantom was a really good episode. I can wait to find out what happens in less than 2 1/2 hours!!!

I AM ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT FOR THIS SEASON PREMIERE! Despite my personal issues with the show...I really prefer this Bizzaro over the one in the comics...I didn't like last season's premiere because I couldn't get over the whole..Lex being possessed by Zod storyline. It ruined everything for me. But I'm interested to see Bizzaro's plans...and hope to God he's in more than one episode.

I think Supergirl is better publicity. I think that I am more pshyched for 7 than 6 and I definitly can't wait to see if that was the right choice. I LOVE SMALLVILE

I'm more excited for 7, as I'm more interested in BizClarko than I was Lexod.

I wish there'd been more hype, but I am excited for one simple reason:

This is the first premiere since the series premiere that I actually get to watch when it airs.

^ Wow, so you've missed every season's premiere since the series started, that's gotta suck.

There's has been hype, all summer long, and now it is finally relieved. I'm actually more excited about this year b/c of two comic book characters appearing, Bizarro and Supergirl. Last year I watched the finale of the 5th season right before the premiere, this year I got nothing. Tho, I am very stoked.

Yup. season 2 I had a job where I worked late, Season 3 I had a job where I had to go to bed early. (And I forgot to set a VCR). Season 4 I had kind of forgotten about SV, Season 5 and 6, my parents taped them for me, but I didn't get to see them for 2 or 3 weeks. :(

Also starting Season 4, I moved to Yosemite and didn't get satellite until last march. So that's most of the series until sometime in March that I watched taped, on DVD or on repeat. (which I will probably have to do for "Action"
