You & Me

Yes this is the same title as my other story, I know. But as I went back and re-read again and again I felt I let who ever was reading my story down by not finishing it. So what I'm going to do is start it over. My biggest problem with the first one was I felt left out certain parts and hopefully this time I will fix that instead of jumping around to much. Mostly what I am doing is changing stuff around to hopefully have it read more smoothly.

I'm pretty much done with putting the finishing touches on chapter 1. I should have that posted up tomorrow some time and you will see the difference from the first product and this one hopefully. If not you can go look for the first one and you will see the changes then.

Here is chapter 1 please enjoy. :D

-----Chapter 1: The New Hire-----

The year is 2010 and Lex Luthor is having a conversation on his cell phone about the possibility of him running for President of the US in 2012. Finally his Vice President of LuthorCorp walked through his door. He tells the other person he must go because someone more important than them just walked through his door. With that he hung up his cell phone and out stretched his hand for a shake. Of course the Vice President returned the gesture.

"Good to see you Clark. How was that vacation?" Lex asked.

"Well I love the small town scene but I’m thinking the big city has grown on me. But every chance to see my parents is always a good thing." Clark said smiling.

"That's great you have that kind of relationship with you‘re parents something I have always envied about you." Lex said with a smirk. “But the real reason I called you in to the office today was to meet our new hire.”

"Ah and who is the lucky person to grace the same hallways that I walk?" Clark asked with a smile.

"Well you will have to come to the board meeting and find out who it is?"

"Why don’t you just tell me I’m pretty good at keeping secrets.”

"I bet you are Clark.” Lex said with a grin. “But the Board Meeting is at 2pm. Do you think you can make it to that or will there be something preventing you from showing up at that time."

"Let me check my book here." Clark pretends to open a book and flip through it. "Nope seems all clear to me boss." Clark laughed.

"Well it's good to see you still haven't lost that Clark Kent sense of humor. Alright see you at 2pm then. And don't be late Clark like you always are." Lex said.

As Clark was walking out of the office. "I'm never early or late I'm right on time."

All Lex could do was start to smile at that comment because that was the same excuse he has been hearing from Clark since he hired him after he graduated from Met U.

Well that little business was out of the way next was meeting the new hire that was going to work along side Dr. Milton Fine in the research department. It needed to be turned around since the plant closer in Smallville, everything has been going down hill for LuthorCorp.

On the way back to his office Clark accidentally bumped into this young beautiful raven hair with hazel eyes, and very beautiful tan complexion. She was wearing a two piece business suit black pants and coat with a white blouse underneath. They both said that they were sorry and kept going on their ways not really noticing each other. As the young lady entered Lex Luthor office she started to get real nervous. Due to the fact this is the man that owns her boyfriend contract and possibly her boss also. She kept telling herself first impression is the most important stay focus. Lex finally stood up from behind his desk and stretched his hand to shake her hand.

“Please Miss Lang sit down and make yourself comfortable is there anything I can get you for you.” Lex motioned to the chair in front of his desk.

"Oh know I'm fine, thank you for the offer. Also please don't call me Miss Lang, I prefer Lana, Mr. Luthor."

"Ok since I can't call you Miss Lang, please I insist on being called Lex my father is Mr. Luthor." Lex grinned.

"Do you know why you are here today Lana?"

"Not really, I was hoping you could shed some light on that today."

"Well the reason I want you to work for me is to help turn around the research department."

"Um.....I really don't know Mr. Luthor...I mean Lex.” Lana bit her lip. “There are other applicants for this position right."

Lex just smiled. "Nope you are the only person I'm interested in I mean just take a look at everyone that has praised your work so highly.”

"Well thank you Mr. Luthor."

After hearing that she was the only person being consider for the job she started to relax a little bit more but not fully yet since she doesn’t have the job yet.

"I mean you graduated from Duke University. And then you went on to work for the government for a few years before moving on.” Lex said. “Lana, I have one simple question what do you want to leave to society when you are gone?"

"Hmm, no one has ever asked that question to me but, I would have to say finding a cure for all diseases."

"Well I don‘t know if we can do that but, I promise you that I will do everything in my power to help you achieve the goals.”

"Great where do I sign up!“ Lana exclaimed.

"Well if you don’t have any questions for me I’ll love to show you to you’re new office.” Lex started to get up from behind his desk.

Lana stood up and followed Lex out of the office to her new office. Lex lead Lana to a door which opened to an office and was 15x15 at least if not bigger. Lana mind began to race about all the things she could put in here to make it her own.

"Alright here is your own corner office with a view of the city. There has only been one other person to use this office.“ Lex walked over to her desk. “I will let you get aquatinted with you’re new surroundings but, today 2pm be in the board room.”

Lana couldn’t help to think herself how glad she was about Jonny signing with the Sharks now more than ever.

Meanwhile in Clark office..........

Clark cell phone rang and there was a female voice on the other end asking him what he had planned for lunch. Clark thought about it for a couple of seconds. He didn't have any plans for lunch for this afternoon as of yet. Well the female voice said Pete and Chloe wanted to have lunch with them today. Clark was all for it especially to see his good friends Chloe and Pete. She told him to meet them at the Outback on 7th and Main Street around 12:30pm. After the phone call Clark decided to kill some time by looking through some old emails.

Once it started getting closer to lunch time Clark could start to hear his stomach growl. It would only take 10 minutes to get to Outback from work. As Clark was entering the elevator Lex was getting off. Lex pointed at his watch to remind him of the 2pm the Board Meeting he would introduce the new hire to everyone.

Once Clark arrived to the parking garage and hit his key to unlock his door he just let out a soft whistle. Because he was still amazed how good his life was right now and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. On the way to lunch he started to think about his trip back to Smallville which of course will be a topic at lunch since everyone now has moved onto Metropolis. Clark arrived with just enough time to spare ok actually he was 5 minutes late.

A female voice from in the corner. Hey Smallville we are over here nice of you to show up. Clark whipped around and flashed his smile because sitting there. Was Chloe the Editor in Chief of the Daily Planet and her husband Honorable Pete Ross followed in his mother footsteps. And of course the only woman to take his breath away Lois Lane which was a journalist for the Daily Planet.

"Hello sexy." Lois said

"Hello beautiful." Clark replied

"So have you guys ordered yet?" Clark asked as he sat down next to Lois.

"Nope we were waiting on the slow poke." Pete smiled.

"What are you talking about Pete I'm the fastest man on earth." Clark grinned.

All of them just started laughing at the thought but Chloe and Pete both knew it was the truth Clark wasn't lying about that fact. They have known about Clark secret for a very long time now.
The waitress came back over and to their table to see if they were ready to order and everyone order now since the missing man had shown up. While they waited for their food all they talked about what was going on with their life and also of course Clark trip back to Smallville. Lois had to the little girl's room as she called it and she would be back as soon as she can. When she left that was the moment Clark was waiting for because he had to ask Pete and Chloe something.

"It's great seeing you guys again always has been. But I got a big question to ask you too." Clark said in a low voice.

"Go ahead Clark you know we are friends." Chloe said.

"Ok I while at home I started to think it was the right time to tell Lois my secret. I mean we have been dating for the last couple of years now.”

"Hold that thought there I know you have been dating her for a while now but don't you think you should put a little more thought into this." Pete said.

"Yea how long did it take for you to tell us your secret it was a long time and it took a lot of trust. And look how we reacted when we first found out.” Chloe said. “Also I know she is my cousin and I love her but, her dad did work for the military."

"That's why I'm getting your opinions on this matter before I tell her since you are both my best friends."

"If it was me I would give it more time. I mean her dad still has those connections in the Pentagon." Chloe said.

"Ok I will not tell her right now but I don't know how much longer I can hold off on it though."

"You will know the right time and place to tell her but right now I don't think it is the most opportune time my friend." Pete said.

"Thank you to both of you being such good friends throughout the years and hopefully there are many more to come." Clark smiled.

While Lois was gone they just sat there and talked to past time. Clark of course asked how Pete Jr. and Jessica were doing since they just started school back up. Finally, Lois returned she apologized for taking so long there was a line to use the woman's bathroom which there seems to always be. Clark looked down at his watch and noticed it was 1:50pm. He said his good byes to Pete and Chloe and will have to get with them later in the week. Clark then turned to Lois and grabbed her by the waist and held her tightly and told her he will see her tonight after work. He gave her a long soft kiss right on her lips and she returned it back. After he paid the bill he was out the door and heading back to work. For the 2pm Board Meeting and also to meet the new hire.

I loved those stories and you just stopped writing them....WTF?

-----Chapter 2: 2pm Board Meeting-----

While Clark was driving back to the office, he thought to himself how good it was to see Pete and Chloe. After finally arriving back at LuthorCorp Clark headed straight to the board room as he was late yet again. He knew Lex would make sure to point it out but, it didn’t bother him one bit. Clark was hoping he would say they were getting another raise for all their hard work but, he knew better. Clark finally got off the elevator and headed down to the board room. When he entered everyone was around the table already making small talk until the meeting started.

“Nice of you to join us Clark please come and take your seat next to me as my right hand man.” Lex said with a grin.

Clark just flashed his smile and started walking to his chair and gave a wave to everyone.

“Alright it seems everyone is here now.” Lex took a quick glance around the table to make sure no one else was missing and he was right everyone was here.

Before we get started with the real business I would like to introduce the newest member of our family. She will be working along side Dr. Fine in the research department. Everyone I give you the beautiful but, intelligent Miss Lana Lang.

Lana stood up and waved at everyone. Clark looked up and noticed that it was the same woman that he bumped into earlier she was the new research technician. This time though she was wearing glasses which made her look wiser beyond her years. Lex continued to talk about Lana for the next 2 to 3 minutes about what she has accomplished and what she wants to do while here in LuthorCorp. Also Lex made sure to point out that she is taken by none other than Jonny Vegas and everyone started to smile at her even more.

After Lex finally finished talking about Lana, he asked everyone to introduce themselves starting on his right and going around until where Clark was waiting for his turn to speak.

Once it finally got around to Clark, he was all smiles. Lex said it is with great pleasure I introduce this next person because not only is he my Vice President but, he is a long time friend. I give you Clark Kent. Clark stood up and greeted everyone again like it was first time meeting him and then he turned his attention to Lana.

Clark started off by saying I'm the real reason anything gets done around here. Lex is usually off playing hide and seek with his wife Dr. Helen Bryce-Luthor. But if I'm not around that means we are up the creek he said smiling. Everyone started to chuckle at that. He said no, actually you are working with the best people from around the world please pick our minds find out we know because we are here to help each other and work together as one team. And once again welcome to our family looking forward to many years of working with you.

After everyone was finished Lex stood up and cleared his throat before he spoke.

“Ladies and Gentlemen which I use loosely with everyone here.” Lex smiled. “The reason I have called for this board meeting today was one introduce you to your new co-worker Lana Lang. And secondly what do you think about reopening the plant back up in Smallville. Say for the research team to work out of.”

The board members looked at each other and stated each others opinions on the matter but it really didn't matter. Lex already had his mind set of opening it back up even if they chose not to.

Lex looked around the table and asked if there were anymore question's and once again welcomed Lana to the family. Before he left for the day they had to speak with Dr. Fine in his office about some information he had.

Lex, Dr. Fine and Lana entered into Lex's office. And Lex motioned for both of them to sit down. He offered them a drink if they wished one. Lana asked for a bottle of water. Dr. Fine asked for a glass of Brandy. Lex pulled out a bottle of water for Lana and prepared him and Dr. Fine a glass of Brandy. While doing this he asked Dr. Fine his personal opinion of Lana Lang.

“I believe she will do Mr. Luthor. I mean with all of her credentials I'm surprised you got her.” Dr. Fine said.

“Dr. Fine how many times must I tell you it's Lex and to answer your question it was quite easy when you have a lot of money to spend.” Lex grinned.

Lex handed them both of them their drinks and toasted to many fruitful researches.

“Lana this is the man that you will be working late hours with maybe even weekends at times and hopefully you are prepared for this.”

“Oh but, I am ready for the challenge of a lifetime and plus the greetings everyone gave me made me feel very welcomed. Thanks Mr. Luthor and Dr. Fine.”

“That's good to hear because we are looking for people with motivation like yourself to help out at the plant.” Dr. Fine said as he glanced back to Lex.

“Dr. Fine if you could please fill Miss Lang in on the details over lunch tomorrow with what she will be helping you with that would be great.”

“Of course Mr. Luthor, how much do you want me to tell her of our current research project?” Dr. Fine asked.

“Well we don't want to leave the young lady out in the dark so bring her up to speed on what we have so found out so far.”

“Ok Mr. Luthor will do.”

“Also Dr. Fine put the bill on the company since it is for official company business.” Lex just smiled at both of them. “That is all I want from you too. Both can leave for the day and I shall see you tomorrow.”

While Dr. Fine and Lana both walked out they started talking about Lana's first day in a big tycoon company. While watching them walk away Lex could only hope Dr. Fine could convince Lana that what she was doing and the information she was trying to find out would in fact help man kind. But also solve the biggest mystery of all who was Superman and where did he come from?

After they left Lex decided to make a phone call he has been putting off all day. And hopefully she wasn't in the middle of surgery because then he would just have to wait to see when he got home. After a couple of rings a nurse working the desk picked up the phone and greeted him just like any other person calling in.

“Nurse Roberts of Metropolis Hospital how may I help you?”

“Ah yes can you connect me to Dr. Bryce-Luthor office.”

“Once second sir and thank you for calling Metropolis Hospital.”

After a click the phone was ringing again. Since the front desk picked up her phone line she was away from her desk. Oh well he thought I'll just leave a message and get back with her later on. Sure enough her voice mail picked up Lex hated leaving message's on answering machines.

“Hey honey it's only me calling to see what your plans are for tonight whenever you get this message just give me a call. Right now I'm at work. Well talk to you later love you much. With that Lex hung up his cell phone and tied up some loose ends for the rest of the day.”

Lex was just relaxing taking in the city from his office when his cell phone rang. Without looking at the caller ID he picked up the phone and said Hello honey. But it was not his wife on the other end of the line but another female voice. The only inside contact he had at a newspaper company.

“Well you wish I was your honey but that's besides the point. I'm just calling in my weekly update.” The female voice said.

“Ok do you have anything else like better pictures then what you have given me in the past or better yet do you have a name.” Lex said sarcastically.

“Calm down there baldy or I will let it be known that you are having an affair with me. You wouldn't want that to get out now would you Lexy Boy.” The female voice shot back.

“Alright you made your point but do you really have anything or just calling to harass me again.”

“What you don't like my phone calls at least this time I'm calling you at work and not at home with your wife.”

“You know this phone call is over call me back when you have better information or I will cut you off and make you disappear.” Lex threatened.

“Ok I'm sorry for bugging you I promise the next time we talk or see each other I will have valuable information. I'll talk to you later sweetie. Bye.”

With that Lex hung up the phone he has gotten in way over his head with her. And if Helen ever found out about her he would pay right along with her. But Helen would never find out Lex would get rid of the poison before it spread. Lex let his secretary know he wasn't taking anymore phone calls for the rest of day unless it was from his wife.

Before Clark left for the day he made sure he went and personally introduce himself. To the new kid on the block Lana Lang. Clark gathered his things and headed towards her office. He was glad to see that the door was open and the lights were still on. When he reached the door he noticed her sitting behind her computer typing away as fast as her delicate little hands could. Clark just stood there, which felt like an eternity to him but it was actually on a couple of minutes.

Clark was in a trance and the only thing that brought him out of it was a hand on his shoulder. Clark slowly turned around and it was a guy he has never seen but his face looked familiar it was none other than Jonny Vegas. Clark just stared at him as to know he was caught staring at the man's girlfriend. This is the guy that is supposed to take the Sharks back to the Super bowl. And Clark was caught red handed there was nothing to really say except I'm sorry. But, Clark wasn't the one that broke the silence it was Jonny.

“Beautiful isn't she there partner?” Jonny asked.

Clark thought to himself, she is drop dead gorgeous any guy to have her wrapped around his arm should consider himself lucky.

“Do you actually talk boy or do you stand there with a blank look on your face all the time?“ Jonny asked.

“O no I can talk just fine but you are Jonny Vegas aren't you.”

“Yes I am. But a word to the wise stay away from her. She belongs to me so take your wandering eyes somewhere else.”

Just then Lana looked up and notice Clark and Jonny at the entrance to her office. Lana got up from her desk and ran and jumped into Jonny arms. He held her so tightly around her small waist as they looked at each other in the eyes. And told each other they loved each other. Then Lana and Jonny were about to kiss until Lana pulled away.

“How rude of me.” Lana said as she looked at Clark. “This is my boyfriend Jonny Vegas. And Jonny this is the Vice President of LuthorCorp Clark Kent.”

Jonny put Lana down and shook hands with Clark.

“Honey let me go turn off my computer and grab my things and I'll be ready to go.” Lana gave a soft kiss on his cheek.

While Lana went back to her desk Jonny made his point clear to Clark. You better not mess with my girlfriend or you may not be around for too much longer. All Clark could do was stand there and think to himself about how much of a jerk this guy really was and what so great about him. Besides winning 2 Super bowls with the Buffalo Bills.

“Mr. Kent is there something you wanted to talk to me about before I left.”

“First of all call me Clark. And secondly I would like to invite you and Jonny over for dinner one night. So that you can meet my friends that I have known for a long time now.”

“Sure thing I'll make sure we will be available. Ok thank you Clark. I'll see you tomorrow bright and early.”

With that Clark and everyone else left for the day to call it a night. And hopefully sometime soon Clark can actually have a one on one with the beautiful Lana Lang.

Let me guess the person that Lex is having an affair with and his contact at the Daily Planet is Lois.
Well then I hope Clark DOES NOT tell her he is Superman. And if it isn't Lois I still dont think he should tell her.
When I picture Jonny Vegas I see Eric Johnson who played Whitney.
I like that Lex and Clark are friends, but if he finds out that Clark is Superman then that friendship is going to get messy.
I would think that Clark is and has always been a lil suspicious of Lex...but whatever.

-----Chapter 3: Getting Involved-----

Lana came into LuthorCorp with a renewed sense of happiness and joy. She felt this was the chance she had been looking for. Last night after founding out she would be working with Dr. Fine. So she did a little search about his background not going back to far not like Lex did to her. So while they were having lunch she could actually have something to talk about. Lana knew very little when it came to Lex trend of hiring new people. Because once you got involved with a LuthorCorp project they had you until they were done using you.

Lana arrived early to work today she really wants to make a good impression on everyone here. But that has always been her way show up early and work late if that's what took to get the job done, she did it. Clark arrived to work 10 minutes early and notice Lana office was already lit up. So before he went into his office he decided to go and check out how the newbie was doing.

“Excuse me Lana is I interrupting you?” Clark asked as he stood her door.

“Oh know Clark please come in take a seat.”

“Thank you, Lana I just wanted to see how you were settling in everything going fine?”

“Yea it's good to live in the big city. I have always been a city girl.”

“Yes I know what you mean.”

“Lana the reason I stopped in was to actually set up a time we could actually sit down and talk one on one. I usually do that with the new hire's just to get a feel for them.”

“Well I'm having lunch with Dr. Fine today this afternoon and this morning I just wanted to get my bearing around this place. So after I come back for lunch would be perfect.”

“Ok how about we shoot for 1:45pm if something comes up give me a call on my cell phone.”

“But I don't have your cell number how I could call you. Lana smiled.”

“Oh yea that may be helpful to have here it is. Please if you ever need help or anything else please don't hesitate to call me. I have a very special friend.” Clark smiled.

“Ok thanks for the warm welcome and I will be at your office door at 1:45pm promptly.”

“Well that should do it for now and I will let you get back to whatever you are doing. And have fun walking around this place it's an adventure in itself.”

With that Clark stood up and walked out of her office heading back to his. Lana thought to herself only she had met him sooner she would defiantly want to get Clark Kent on a more personal level. Not because he was the 2nd most powerful man in LuthorCorp. But he was cute with his blue-green eyes and the way he carried himself with confidence.

As Clark was about to walk into his office everyone else was just starting to come in. As usual Lex was going to be late he must have had a late night with the Mrs. Luthor. Clark walked into his office and noticed a message on his phone. He wondered who it could be from this early in the morning.

Clark put in his personal pin number and the message started to play it was his mom. Just then he thought he was supposed to call them last night to let him know he got home safe.

Clark this your mother you know the person along with your father help raise you into the man you are today. I know right about now you're laughing so stop it. Clark just grinned because she was right. Please once you get this call us at home to let us know your safe you know how we worry about you day and night.

Clark took his cell phone and noticed he had 3 missed phone calls all from his mom. He didn't realize it because he had his cell phone turned off last night he wanted peace and quiet. Clark dialed his mom at home.

“Hello son nice of to call us this bright and beautiful morning.” Martha said.

“Hello mom I'm sorry I forgot to call you last night but I was wiped out from working all day and also Lois wanted some attention.”

“I should have figured another woman was taking my place in your life.” Martha let a light chuckle out.

“Mom you are my number 1 no one can ever take your spot I promise you that.”

“Well ok I believe you. I will make sure to let your dad know that you are safe and sound honey.”

“Alright mom I'll call you tonight once I get off work.”

“Okie sweetie. Love you son. Bye.”

“Love you mom.”

With that they hung up and Clark actually wasn't preoccupied with Lois last night. She was actually out trying to get a scoop on a story she has been working the last couple of months. What Clark was actually doing was thinking about Lana Lang and how he could have feelings for a woman he just met yesterday.

-----Meanwhile------

Lana just wondered around LuthorCorp just trying to figure her way around. She didn't want anyone's help with it. If she couldn't find it that means she isn't supposed to be there. This took up most of her morning. She took a glance at her watch and notice it was getting close to lunch time. She and Dr. Fine agreed they would meet in the lobby and go to lunch. Dr. Fine told her about this little Italian cafe just a few blocks up and it was very good food.

“Good day Miss Lang are you ready to go.”

“Yes Dr. Fine, I am ready to pick your brain and lunch of course.”

“Good I sure hope you brought your appetite they do not go lightly on the food there.” Dr. Fine smiled.

With that they headed to the parking garage to jump in Dr. Fine Jaguar XL 500 it was silver. Before they jumped into his car Dr. Fine pointed out where Lana would be parking being a big wig has it perks of course. And they were off to the little cafe.

The hostess greeted them once they entered. "Ah yes name please and how many."

“Dr. Fine is the name and party of two.”

“Ok I have you right here sir it will take about 2 minutes to clear up your table so if you could please wait over there and we will be right with you.”

For that 2 minute wait all Lana could do was read a newspaper that was sitting there printed by the Daily Planet. The headline read "WHO IS SUPERMAN AND WHERE DID HE COME FROM." The journalist that wrote the article was Lois Lane. Dr. Fine caught her reading the article about Superman. He was just hoping Lex was right about her willing to do this. He will soon fine out now won't he thought.

“The hostess came and let Dr. Fine and his date that his table was ready. She escorted them to a window seat that had a view of the busy street of Metropolis.”

“Your waiter will be with you shortly and thank you for coming today.” The hostess smiled and left them be.

“Lana how long have you been with Jonny?” Dr. Fine asked.

“Oh we have been dating for 2 months now.”

“May I inquire on how you too met?”

“I believe the way he did it was kind of weird.” Lana laughed.

“I was shopping at in a Victoria Secret store and he walked up to me to ask for help with shopping with for his girlfriend. Of course me so gullible I helped out not realizing he was actually hitting on me. One thing leads to another and we just started dating.”

Dr. Fine asked. “I know where there is a Victoria Secret at would you like to help me out?” Dr. Fine smiled.

Lana let out a little giggle. “Sorry Dr. Fine you are 2 months too late but it may work on someone else.”

“Don't worry I'm already happily married man and don't need anymore headache's.” Dr. Fine laughed.

Of course Lana knew this but she was just trying to keep the conversation interesting until it was time to order.

As the waiter arrived at their table she was a little too perky had to be a college kid from Met U trying to make extra cash. She took their orders and told them she would be right back out with their drinks.

While they were drinking their drinks. Dr. Fine realized how hard it was going to be working with this woman. I mean she had everything going for her. She was intelligent, beautiful, young, and funny was a hidden talent of hers. He is surprised that she was just only dating Jonny and not married already.

“Lana the reason Lex wanted me to talk you was about what you saw in the newspaper while we were waiting on our table.”

“Really what does Lex want with Superman?”

“Lex believes Superman holds the key to curing a lot of world disease. But we have to find out who Superman is.”

“So he can be anyone it's like a needle in a hay stack Dr. Fine.”

“In the Smallville plant we have these green rocks we don't know what they are or what they do. That's another thing we need to solve. The only thing we know is they came from the metor shower that happened in 1989.”

“Wow sounds like we have a plate full of stuff to head up. Sounds very interesting Dr. Fine.”

“Yes that's why we need you to give everything you got this project is so important to LuthorCorp.”

“Alright I'm willing to help especially if it is to benefit everyone as a whole.”

While they sat there and ate their lunch and made small talk about their lives up to this point. After they were finished eating Dr. Fine let the waitress know to put it on the LuthorCorp tab. And once they were cleared they left to go back to work. While heading back Lana could only think about unlocking these two things green rocks and the true identity of Superman. But also she thought about what Clark Kent could have to talk about could it be more information about Superman or the green rocks than Dr. Fine told her. Oh well she will find out shortly enough what it was about because her meeting was fast approaching with the infamous Clark Kent.
