Hey Lane thanks for the link to your new Bond video. Really awesome job on this vid! The song you used was a cool choice and you chose some awesome scenes and sequences to match the lyrics/music. Very impressive job on the effects in the vid as well. They all looked very cool in there. Very awesome vid all around Lane!

Very cool opening! It looked great and I really liked the way you edited it to the intro music. The b/w was a nice touch. Really impressive job on the section from 43-51. The action sequnences were really well interlaced together and I really liked what you did with transition at end of that sequence. Very cool effect at 56 that looked great. I also really liked the look of the effect at 108-112 with the overlay/echo effect on there. And it was cool how that effect linked up with the music so well there.

The section of the vid from 126-202 was another particularly well put together section. Very nice job editing that airport runway sequence so effectively. It was very smooth the way you edited and paced it, and I liked what you did with the effects. The way you stopped on the beat at 203 after the shaking worked really well. Awesome job on the final action sequenece too! The scenes all flowed together in a very cool way in that part and it led up very impressively to the ending with the way it matched the flow and intensity of the music. Very awesome vid Lane!

Great video Lane!

Thanks for the link man. If you don't want to send auto links in the future that's cool. Just drop me a PM telling me that you have a new video up. Otherwise I would never know. In all honesty, I never go in this section all that much.

Now I am not a big Bond fan. I have never actually seen any of the older ones. The only ones I have seen are Goldeneye and Casino Royale. Now CR was actually a great film. Regardless of the fact that it was Bond. It was just a good movie.

Song was awesome. Wasn't this the song used in Die Another Day? I have never seen that movie, but I remember hearing this in the trailers.

Loved the opening with the blood dripping. That was freaking sweet man. Looked fantastic. That had to be something you wipped up in After Effects. :D

- Great stutter editing to the beats @ .19 with the card. Freaking sweet.

- SWEET transition @ .50. Looked really good man.

- Loved the ghosting @ 1:08-1:12 to show Bond having the drugged look.

- Great timing with Bond getting hit in the nuts right on cue @ 1:21. IT was humours too, especially with the lyric of "cliche".

- Another sweet looking transition @ 1:25.

- Loved 2:05 when you had the slight pause on the smile and then used that cool transition to continue. AE/Premiere does have some sweet transitions. I will say that.

- I found the very end of the video to be hilarious with the scene waving to the music. I actually made me laugh.

That was one great video Lane. The picture quality was awesome, perfect aspect ratio on the widescreen, great scene selection, solid editing the whole way through, and really nice looking FX/transitions.

The only FX I didn't care for was the one used @ 2:12 and other times through out the video with the static TV look. I found this to be kind of distracting.

* My only recommendation especially for videos like these, is that you have to start working in some sound FX. Especially in the instrumental sections with the gunfire, explosions, sound of the contact in fights, etc.. I used to hate sound FX. But after talking with instructors at school and watching tons of trailers, the consensus is that sound FX are important. They add an extra element to the video.

Really great work though Lane. First rate all the way through bro.

Ive been offline for awhile so I havent had a chance to respond...

Yeah the song was from die another day....
Im glad you liked the effects!!!
Im also glad you liked the bond opening...The b&w was straight from the movie...
Im also glad you liked the action scene at 43 with the adorage transition at the end...
At 56, that was a stutter effect...
At 108 that was a few different effects... An echo, a diffusion filter and a shake at the end....trippy!!!
Also glad you liked that effect at 203...
Thanx for watching and leaving the awesome feedback man!!!! :)

Hey Ryan!!!

Yeah sometimes I like the Bond flicks and soetimes I dont....I thought CR was good ant that Craig played the part well...
Yep, that song was from die another day with pierce brosnan i beleive...???
Ummm, the opening was the original opening for the movie...no ae there...
Glad you liked the stutter with the cards...put a little work into that...
The tranition at 50 was adorage. I remember telling you it was difficult to use with Vegas, not so with Premiere was easily, not as an outside program but as part of Premiere...
Glad you liked the drugged scene..used like 3 filters with that scene...
Glad you liked the paret with Bond getting hit in the nuts!!!
The transition at 1:25 was a saphire transition...They take a little more work but look more complex...
At 2:05 I used a shake filter and I liked the smirk thing he had there and then another adorage transition after that...Havent been using the effects in AE near as much as Premiere..
Im glad you liked the end with the scene waving to the music!!! :D
Umm,,, I find working in sound effects to be frustrating and time consuming,,,I agree though that they improve a vid alot...Unfortunately there so much to do to make sound right...
Thanx for watching and leaving the awesome feedback man!!! :)

Thanks for the link to your Bond video Lane...Sorry for the long delay in feedback.
I've just had alot on my plate.
Great, great job on this Bond video dude.
Blew me away...Loved the beginning of the video with that whole masking effect on James.
That song, it's one of those songs that once you listen to it, it just sticks with you...LOL
But, anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed this video beginning to end. I haven't seen the movie so I wasn't really sure what the main plotline was but I still enjoyed it.
I just can't get my head around Daniel Craig as James Bond...I was just getting used to Pierce Brosnan as JB then they change it again.
Anyways, great job bro...And thanks again for the link.

Im also glad you liked the line effect at 1:15...
At 1:25 that was another adorage transition...
@:05 was another adorage transition, only without hte scene change...
Im also glad you liked the scene swaying to the music too!!
Thanx for the awesome feedback!!! :D
