So I had a chuck/sarah dream last night :D!! It was sooo sweet.
It was another bomb situtation (I know right lmao) and so Sarah was like "what the hell" and kissed Chuck again xD then he did what he did with Lou and picked her up, it was really cute xD
Then after the bomb didn't go off Chuck looked over and was like "why do they never go off?!"
I was like LOL!

Haha! I said I love Elle. That doesn't mean Chuck needs to hit it with his sister. That's what Captain Awesome is for.
I just mean he needs to grow a pair and quit the stuttering, "Chicks don't dig me," crap.
And that sausage girl needs to come back. He needs a menage-et-trois with her and Sarah.

If you are a Chuck and Scrubs fan: Chuck's sister (Elle) was on an episode of Scrubs!
The episode where J.D. first meets Kim, after Turk shows him that he only notices girls who aren't wearing wedding rings - Elle is one of those girls. She is "flowershop girl".
CallMeClark
01-06-2008, 10:38 AM
The actress who plays Elle has been in several other TV shows (What About Brian, Dr. Vegas, For Kings [all canceled] and Everwood, CSI, Six Feet Under etc...).

No, no. She was Gift Shop Girl. And she's been in four episodes (I think), maybe three, but only one time where it wasn't a cameo. All recurring as Gift Shop Girl.

Here is some good news:
NBC will broadcast two original episodes of "Chuck" (8-9 p.m. ET Mondays) on Thursday, January 24, 8-9 p.m. ET and again at 10-11 p.m. ET -- sandwiched around an original episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" from 9-10 p.m. ET. From executive producer, Josh Schwartz ("The O.C.") and executive producer-director McG ("Charlie's Angels," "We Are Marshall"), "Chuck" is an action-comedy series starring Zachary Levi ("Less Than Perfect") as a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent.

I'm not wanting to excited about seeing something new, and finding out it's been pushed back. I am not willing to watch Reality Tv shows, that are cheesily scripted. News is the only thing I'm watching right now.
How come Soap Operas aren't affected by the strike ?
Terminator, is Sara Connor in it ? Loved Linda Hamilton in the roll, not sure if I'll give the show attention.
superhippie2000
01-17-2008, 06:05 PM
ya reality stuff is cheesy. dont want to get off topic but reality shows tend to have people from other reality shows. like rock of love has a girl from beauty and the geek lol. i thought soaps were. ya sarah is in it. its sarah conner chronicles lol. check out the terminator forums and see what eople are posting about.
ya bugs me that shows come back for one episode and thats it. thats why i want to know if chuck is going to have more then just too. i just hope chuck doesnt get cancelled cause its a really good and funny show. i think it sucks that most of the shows have plenty of room with the strike but they are all moving to thursdays lol. chuck and lost both and then smallville and supernatural and once supernatural is done with new episodes then reaper. wish chuck would just go back to mondays on nbc and move gladiators to another night or time. cause with all good shows on one night all the other nights are empty.

I understood at the beginning of the strike, that new shows were going to suffer the most. Possibly even not picked for a new season. I just HOPE Chuck survives, it's one of my favorite new shows out there. Bionic Woman kind of ain't all that it was built up to be.
superhippie2000
01-17-2008, 06:20 PM
ya bionic woman didnt do so great. i got bored after awhile. but ya you want a new show try out terminator. it has more continuety then samllville lol when it comes to the movies.
i just saw a chuck review and it said next week both episodes were new. after that i have no clue.

I don't do reality shows, I like the "Actuality shows" like Cops, and other series such as that. On A&E I watch Cold Case Files (not the drama, the actual series the drama was based on), Forensic Files, the Investigators and so on.
I watch Tru TV (formerly Court TV), they have the Beach Patrol series and stuff like that.

Chuck is going to survive. NBC said so. It pulled enough ratings of its own (regardless of being a lead-in for Heroes) and had a lot of positive reviews.

I went ahead and set a reminder for the episodes with my digital box. I read the description for the 10/9 central episode and it sounds really interesting and sort of does act like a season finale.
Just finished watching them. Didn' think that it felt much like a season finale until mid-way through the second episode, but then it really ramped it up! Be interesting to see how this continues in S2. Been a great season, hope the strike ends in time for it to start normally.

Yeah, but one of them is during Smallville, so they are a for sure download for me, unfortunately. I don't own a Nielsen's box anyway so it's not like I count towards ratings anyway.
For the record, that's just as illegal! If it was the case, things would be far easier over here! :D
Downloading is wrong, it has no public justification. I could argue that as I buy products from a supermarket, pay my TV licence and have the most expensive TV subscription you can get, and buy TV shows I like on DVD anyway I wouldn't be affecting anyone, but that's silly.
Plus the more you talk about it, the more people will do it and the harder the legitimate sources will be hit - meaning less money for shows in the long run. So it's not in downloaders' interests to go on about it!

So according to tvguide.com a Chuck comic book will be coming out in June.
Chuck (http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/chuck/287885) fans who can't get enough of the computer nerd and his antics can start flipping the pages of his adventures this June.
The NBC show's comic-book version will follow the unlikely hero in a series of worldwide travels, mishaps, near-death cliff-hangers and more (if you can handle it). The upcoming series will be created by WildStorm, the DC Comics imprint that has also put Supernatural (http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/supernatural/192272) to comic paper. Chuck Bartowski and his cohorts will be available in comic form starting June 11.
I think that a Chuck comic book could be pretty cool if they do it right.

im guessing chuck will be back if they are bothering with a comic book. i wonder if it will be part of the show storylines or just new random storylines. i havent read the supernatural ones but i think i heard those are like a prequal to the show and follows the father around on his hunting trips and shows sam and dean growing up with this stuff.
should be an interesting comic book tho.

well they say 40. its never really 40. chances are it will be closer to 30. thats just like the retail price. a season of smallville would cost like 40 or 50 but they list it as 65.

Yay! But wait... 13 episodes on FOUR disks? That's not even two eps per disk. WTF? Are DVD companies going to start lying to us about how much data can be held on a normal DVD so that will be tricked into buying HD and/or Blue Ray?
And that's my conspiracy theory for the day. Carry on.

I was just wondering if sarah not liking olives was a quirk created by yvonne or one of the writers. Does yvonne not like olives or is it just part of the written character of sarah.

Chuck is about to become a comic book — and it'll leave the NBC series shaken, not stirred. "Since we can do absolutely anything in a comic book, we're going to take Chuck Bartowski out of the confines of the Buy More store and put him on crazy, globe-trotting spy adventures a la James Bond," says co-writer writer Peter Johnson (who is also co-writing Supernatural: Rising Son, another TV-to-comic adaptation). The six-issue series, from DC Comics imprint WildStorm, kicks off June 11 with a plot that finds the computer-repair geek "at the big, bad high-tech Supermax prison in Tokyo where he'll confront all the villains he's helped put away in the series," says Johnson. "We'll also send him to Rio and Moscow. It's what would happen if Chuck was a $300 million Hollywood blockbuster."
The no-rules approach will also allow Johnson to mess around with time. "The comic will go back and explore Chuck and Morgan as kids," he says. "We'll see what Chuck and Bryce were like in college. We'll do Bryce and Sarah spy stories." The series will also flash-forward to "a speculative, alternate universe kind of future in which Chuck and Sarah are married." But it's also au courant. Adds Johnson: "The first comic in the series has a very timely tie-in to politics and, quite possibly, the next president of the United States."
Each issue will further expand on the Chuck mythos with a short backup story — one of which will be written by the series star Zachary Levi. "It's an actor's dream come true," Johnson says. "For once Zach will be able to write his own dialogue!"
And for those who cannot preview the first 5 pages of issue 1 (courtesy of WildStorm/DC Comics) on the TV Guide site, I've uploaded them here.

Arrested Development alum Tony Hale has scored a recurring role on NBC's Chuck, in which he'll be laying down the law, so to speak.
Per the Reporter, Hale will arrive at Chuck's store, Buy More, as a corporate efficiency expert who steps in as the new assistant manager. Once he sees how poorly things are run at the store, he decides to stay on for a while — and will no doubt wreak a little havoc in the meantime. - tvguide.com
I loved him on AD, I think this will be a great addition to Chuck. The new season can't start soon enough!

Please be warned of spoilers below!!
Zachary Levi is seeing double, he informed TV Guide at Sunday's "A Time for Heroes Carnival" sponsored by Disney to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The culprit: Season 2 of NBC's Chuck. "It's twice the action, twice the drama and twice the romance," Levi teases. "It's Chuck squared." In fact, upcoming storylines play with the theme of twos. "Chuck dies, twice," Levi reveals. "It's crazy."
What else is on the horizon for the spy comedy? "Sarah Walker (played by Yvonne Strahovski), the CIA extraordinaire, is getting a new cover job," says Levi. "And we've got some really great guest stars." Among them are Michael Clarke Duncan ("He plays a great bad guy," says Levi), Arrested Development's Tony Hale (see related story), and John Larroquette, playing "a spy debonair who teaches me how to seduce women," Levi says.
Will Chuck put his newly acquired macking skills to work on Sarah? Teases Levi, "You'll have to tune in and find out."
Sweet, season 2 is sounding awesome! And Chuck dies? Twice? Interesting.
Cool guest stars too. I only know Michael Clarke Duncan (from his role as The Kingpin in the Daredevil film), and he plays one tough ass baddie. Don't know the other two guys though..

I think either or would be ok just now would probably be slow like the heroes and sarah conner chronicels sections are. seems like spoilers are starting to come in so i guess it would be a good idea to open now. or atleast a partial forum and the closer we get to season 2 expand it a little bit more.

Haha I am practically in the same exact boat, I just watched all the Chuck episodes like last month. Man, this show is just so awesome. I can't believe I didn't watch it before. What can I say they did the perfect thing to get me into the show by casting Kristin Kreuk. I figured I would just watch it for her and Brandon Routh, but then something amazing happened, I fell in love with the show. I can honestly say it has cemented itself as my second fav show, just behind Smallville. I guess I'm about two years late to the show but better late then never.
