I was just wondering if anyone has read The House of The Scorpion, it is pretty good....creepyish, but good.

Oh! I didn't really like the ending... well actually, I thought the ending was alright, but I didn't like .. what happened... to a certain character.... a certain bodyguard...

the rights to The House of the Scorpion was bought by Warner Brothers. We'll see where that goes. And Nancy Farmer is researching for the sequel right now. (In mexico I think...she blogged about it).
