I saw the promo card on the main page and it really kinda bothered me. As much as both Chloe and Lionel have been used to help keep the show going, I really thought Allison Mack and John Glover deserved a space on the Promo Card. Another thought comes to mind though. Does this mean Chloe and Lionel may be exiting this season? Maybe so, but c'mon, they gave the show attention, they deserve attention.

I totally agree, they snubbed Allison Mack & John Glover. I think I am especially bothered by the failure to notice Allison. She really puts in her dues on that show, plus she is beautiful to showcase.
 Why the snub???? It ticks me off. It’s a lack of marketing couth not to put her up there. She has marketability just like the rest of the characters. Shame on them, these are viable characters (Chloe & Lionel) that add ten-fold to that show.

I said it before and I'll say it again. The card was designed for Comic Con and the three SV cast members that were there to sign autographs were on the card (Erica, Justin, and Laura) and obviously the three main characters of the show (Tom, Michael, and Kristin) had to also be on the card to promote the show. Chloe, no matter how much she deserves to be, is not a main character. Same thing with Lionel.

Thanks for clearing that up about the promo card, but your comment couldn't be farther from the truth:
"Chloe, no matter how much she deserves to be, is not a main character. Same thing with Lionel."
Both have been major characters in Smallville. Chloe has been the proverbial comic relief, side-kick du-jour and "lady on the side" in so many ways. Lionel has been the mystery man all throughout the show while often evil and quite catalystic. So, ok, they were not at the Comic-Con so they would not be on that card, I accept that. But not main characters? - no way is that right.

Chloe and Lionel just don't have what it takes to make the cut. When you look at the promo card, do you honestly want to see Chloe or Lionel on there. I know I wouldn't. I would like to see the characters that are most relevant to the next season, which they've done. IMO, the promo card is what it should be.

I feel like I just landed in Bizarro world. Nothing personal to you or anyone else. We are all entitled to our opinions, but how can you say Chloe and Lionel are not among the most relevant? They both provided great support to the show, its story line and other characters.
Seriously, I am more of a Lana fan than of Chloe's or Lionel's. But they were and are just as important as anyone of the other original characters.
All in all, that promo card could have maybe been big enough for two more spots. Why it wasn't, who knows. Maybe it is a Freudian slip on the part of TPTB saying they are both leaving soon.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. What I meant was that they are supporting characters, not the "Big 3", which are Tom, Kristin, and Michael. They are both an important part of SV, no doubt about it, but not as much as the Big 3. They've both contributed largely to the show, but are still not as important as the main characters. Same with Erica and Annette. That's just the way it is, no matter how you look at it.

Chloe is very important, especially to Clark. She should have been on the promo card. I had someone, at Comic Con - San Diego, looking for the Smallville Promo cards for me.They couldn't find them. Anyone know how to get one?

Whether Chloe is a main character that can be disputed or even if Allison Mack wasn’t at Comic-con, the point is she plus John Glover are part of that show and deserve the recognition. The show is base on Smallville with its entire ensemble.
It is a lack of class by TPTB and a total snub to those two excellent actors, they bring a lot of versatility/style to the show.

EXCUSE ME!
allsion mack/chloe was on the show WAY WAY WAY before erica durance was on it and has had more episodes and is more part of smallville than lois. so she shouldnt have got snuubed but shouldve been on the promo card. she deserves it more than erica does, and as for kristin..they shouldv given others a chance!

Did I ever say Erica/Lois was more important than Allison/Chloe? No, I did not, nor do I think so. Once again, this card was designed for the Comic Con and Erica obviously had to be on it since she attended and was signing autographs. Allison did not attend, therefore she was not on the card. It's very simple, really.
