Best Of Smallville DVD Series

It is inevitable that Smallville will eventually end and we will one day have a “Best Of” Smallville DVD series.

My favorite series of the 00’s like many of you is Smallville. My favorite series of the 90’s was Highlander. Highlander ran for about 6 seasons, spawned a movie and has a “Best Of” DVD series of 14 episodes. Highlander disappointed many of the fans of the series by not giving us the ending we deserved, which would have been Duncan McLeod winning the prize. Hopefully Smallville will give its loyal fans the ending it deserves on its last episode, which is Welling/Clark as Superman in the last episode.

Given the 6 completed seasons that we have so far what 14 episodes would you include in a “Best Of” Smallville series? After much thought I believe the series reached its absolute peak at the end of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3. I would include all 3 of those vital episodes in my “Best Of” package set; Exodus, Exile and Phoenix. There are a lot of other good episodes to choose from. There are mythos building episodes, plot turns, character developments, etc.

I really wanted to add some more episodes on that list because I feel some very important ones were left out. However I stuck to the 14 episode requirement.

I also feel on a best of DVD if it were to only include 14 episodes it should include ALL extras on the DVDs.
