BTVS/Smallville Crossover event...

A video dedicated to the pairing you always wanted to see but couldn't - Buffy and Clark. Buffy and Clark are losing hope when it comes to love. However, they meet, and fall for each other. But as we all know love is never easy and troubles ensue. Clark pulls away, which eventually makes Buffy stray. They have to fight through the bad times to make things work.

This was a project I cut for my demo reel @ school. It is a video with all scene manipulation, and includes soundbytes/voiceovers to help sell the story even better. Softwares used include After Effects, Photoshop, Sony Vegas, and Avid.

I own neither BTVS or Smallville. This was made purely for non profit with no copyright infringement intended.

Thanks Lane!

I am happy that you watched and enjoyed the video. This video took weeks of work. The most painstaking part was the color correction. I have never had to do so much masking in my life.. LOL The best way to do color correction is to copy a clip above itself like you were doing an overlay. Then draw a mask around the person in the copied clip and color the bottom clip. The image in the mask stays unaffected, and the background changes color. This prevents the person changing color with the background.

Thanks for the compliment on the editing too. This video took a very long time to edit and match everything up. I always wanted this ship to happen but didn't think it ever could. But now that I have finally finished at school, I have other tools like Photoshop and After Effects to put to good use that helped make this video become a reality. The funny thing is I hate both AE and PS. I just do not like Adobe products whether it is PS, or AE. Motion graphic softwares confuse the hell out of me. I took to Avid and Final Cut Pro right away. But PS and AE still confuse me, and I am just trying to get past the very basics of both. But I could not have done the video without them. I like PS more than AE though, which is funny considering AE is for moving video, and PS is for stills.

Thanks again dude!

That was like seriously one of the most original best videos that I have seen, totally loved it. And the scenes were able to match up really well and I never thought of it but I am totally a Cluffy shipper now. Do you do fanfiction aswell, that would be a great pair.
