View Full Version : Eric Summers should have been the vessell for Zod (IMHO)

That would have been kinda cool, as he would have had reason to want revenge on Clarkto go with Zods reason for rengence against Kal ell , also the chemistry between Ashmore and Welling in the two episodes they were against each other was fantastic. They could have still given Lex the abilities temporarily as a distraction, this would have been nuts and thrown everybody off. However MR does play a good bad guy.

Lex feels way more betrayed by Clark than Eric does. I dont think it is even comparable.
I do love Ashmore's character though.

Another Clark v.s. Eric Summers?

No thanks!

But how about Eric Summers v.s. Jimmmy Olsen?

I don't think that would work! Or rather I don't want that to ever happen.

I still feel Zod should not have been a vessell. Zod should have been Zod.

^^Yup. In Solitude before the retcon, he had his own body. I hated that retcon. I thought Michael Rosenbaum did a good job, but I still wanted Zod seperate from Lex.

One good thing they failed to do is show how Zod possessing Lex made him even more paranoid & hateful towards aliens.

Yes I agree, but the worst part was the lame fight we got! It seems they ran out of budget to do anything else. :\

Zod didn't have a body. Fine was going to use Clark as a vessel for Zod, and he thought it wouldn't have worked cause Clark was too strong.

I agree about the alien thing. I liked seeing MR play a bad guy with real power, but would have liked it if they kept them separate. If lex should join with anyone, it should be braniac, but that may come later.

I know the story they came up with for why zod didn't have a body, but it really doesn't make sense. I mean, clark went into the zone, why didn't zod take out his body while he was there? Is zod the only one who lost his body?

Those phantoms also lost their bodies. Like in Wither, Labryinth, Fallout and Phantom.
