I was in Tallahassee FL when Smallville first aired. I had ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut. The WTC attack had just happened and the America was still stunned. I had been waiting for almost 6 months for that night to happen.
I remember watching that pilot and thinking "hell yea, i have a new favorite show."
And now here we are approaching what will probably be the final season. What will we do after that!!
Where were you when SV aired?

I was probably outside doing something that I wasn't supposed to be doing. I think I was 15 years old when the show first aired.

I was at a friends house, having a group-gathering specifically to watch the show.

The night Smallville premiered, I was at home watching the series premiere of Star Trek: Enterprise. I found Smallville when they first showed Heat. Then somehow, I didn't think too much of it and didn't start watching on a permanent basis until S3 started.

I was home because of angina pectoris. It's the only reason why I watched Pilot.
I don't think I would start watching Smallville if I haven't accidentally seen Pilot.

I was about 12/13 when premiered in England. I remember a few of my mates were discussing it in our maths class. I really liked the sound of it. So once school finished, i went home and waited for it to start.

I had just been married for a couple of years and we were still living in our apartment I wasn't sure if I was going to watch I say the movies but I was not a Superman, I was in love with John Schnieder when he was on the Dukes of Hazzard and decided to give the show a shot. I am glad I did TW is soo cute if I was only 20 years younger or he was 20 years older boy or boy . I have all the seasons on DVD and both of the sound tracks. I have been getting the Mag since it was first published. I love posting on this and the CW site
SMALLVILLE ROCKS!!!!!!!

I saw my first episode a few years ago when i got off of work one night. I was eating and the TV was on FOX. Smallville was coming on. It was when Clarks ship (Jor-El) started talking to him. The ship was hovering there glowing in a great yellow light. Jor-El told Clark it was time to fullfill his destiny. It was the most awesome telvision teaser i had ever and have ever seen. I was an instant SV fan.

I totally agree. That Smallville teaser is one of my favorite television teasers of all time!!!
Jor-El tells Clark that his thought are not a mystery to him and tells him that "it is time"! I LOVE IT! I'm going to watch it now in fact.;)

I knew about Smallville coming on prior to the Pilot, since I was only 11, in 6th grade, I didn't know much about Superman and his history, so I was pretty excited.

Well when the show first premiered, we no longer had The WB so I was "Up a Creek" BUT THE NEXT WEEK, we had a deal worked out and they brought The WB back! So my first ep was Metamorphosis. I had been waiting on the show to come out forever, I had read about it on the internet like a year or two before it came out, I never got a chance to watch the whole Pilot until probably a few months ago. But I was instantly hooked!

I didn't know about Smallville untill I saw the season 2 repeats on ABC Family, it was the year season 4 came out on dvd. I bought season 4, was completley lost, wtched though, went out the next week and spent 200 bucks on seasons 1-3. Then i started watching it on tv when season 5 aired.

I saw the pilot. I'd been waiting for it because I'm a Supes fan, but I was ready for it to be really bad. I thought the opening shot with the meteors was amazing, and I was thinking -- ok this might be decent after all. But when I saw Clark surfing the internet for speed records and Tom said his first line "Coming mom" -- they had me.
Oh and I was at home -- in the living room.
