I just got done watching the final three eps and realized in the matter of 5 weeks Peter can draw perfectly. He went from stick figures to fine colored pencil drawings. Did anyway else catch this?

Yah- I'm willing to forgive it because it means we still get to see Tim Sale's amazing art.
I suppose he practiced ALOT to get that proficient. Also, he has a style slightly different from Isaac- his pictures are somewhat metaphorical.
And now that I think of it, Sylar painted just fine after he got the power. Maybe the power makes it alot easier to paint- since you see on the canvas what you need to paint, it becomes sorta "paint by numbers", except, uh, you dont have the numbers.

It's the ultimate in tracing! So we know PEter has Charlies memory becuase he has been around Sylar. So one of my thoughts were of course he read Painting for Dummies. He also seems to be able to sketch without going into white eye mode(wem)! But Isaac could do that as well. I wonder if we will get to see Sylar use his without WEM. But also Sylar seemed to be able to start using the power without having to paint at all.

I'm with you about peter learning to draw, and I think thats what sylar did to. His intellect and telekinesis could have contributed to his better drawing. I don't think it has anything to do withthe power because the power is precognition not "being able to paint the future" isacc just did that so he could keep a record of it.

And Sylar's Eidetic Memory I bet would realy help with the learning process. Actually, now that I think about it, couldn't that be why Sylar alone does not need to paint it to remember it?

Yeah sylar is ultimately capable of being very gifted because of not only of the eidetic memory but his original mutation the intuitive aptitude. So he can learn and understand a lot easier than than a normal person.

I assumed that Peter simply couldn't tap into the abilities fully. After further understanding of his powers did he increase his abilities.

You can't accurately use something you have know knowledge of or understand. He doesn't know what he is capable of and lacks the control and knowledge to use his powers. Until he grasp that, he is all but weak.

no he got beter in like 2 or 3 episodes remember save the cheerleader save the world. he finished issac's painting. Maybe peter is like a battery the longer he is around someone the stronger the power.unless from 2 sources example ted and sylar.he absorbed ted's power then it went full power when he came into contact with sylar after he stole it.
