Was peter using nikki's power

Jessica is the name of her dead sister, it is also the name her "other personality" chose. Niki is not possessed by the spirit of her dead sister, she just has another personality.

And yes, I do believe that Peter was using Niki's power, because Peter does not look like the type to know how to throw a punch that will actually hurt. Niki's super-strength is how he beat Sylar up.

You can use TK to help you swing the meter, or he could have used it to keep it in his hands so instead of wasting strength keeping his fingers wrapped around the meter he could use it all on bashing in Peter's face. Use your imagination.

Sylar uses his tk power for just about everything. He's the tk equivalent of the non-phoenix Jean Grey! Except he lacks the mind reading aspect.

To clear things up, Peter did and was using Niki's power. Niki/Jessica...regardless of the personality...the body possesses powers.

He may not have been using all of the potential strength, but I'm sure those punches had some force, at least that's why they were trying to show us with Sylar getting pretty bloody there and all that sound.

Remember, now that Niki is not superman...she has her limits. She is probably classified above peak human strength. She can easily rip off handles to a safe, but she's not able to throw cars around.

Also, Sylar was able to hold the parking meter in his hands because he can use his telekinesis [in conjunction] to enhance his strength. It's like applying two different forces to one object. His TK definitely has its extremities being that he can flip a truck that's probably well over a few tons.

I agree. I think she could throw a truck. At one time we were talking about her strength and the pressure in pounds it would take to rip a bone. (Boy we're geeks) I believe it was well over 2 tons. Plus she ripped out of those cuffs that could an elephant. I have seen vids of elephants on the lose and they can knock over a vehicle.

I would say her strength would be anywhere from 1 to 3 tons, she is not that strong but she is stronger that everyone else on the show.

I think sylar keeps a skin-tight tk field aroung his body indefinitely to protect himself from impacts and concussive force. Thats how he was able to withstand those punches peter gave him.

I'm thinking that the TK is stronger than Nikkissica's strength- we've seen so many uber-feats with the former, and none with the latter.

It is, but it requires a much lower strength than, say, throwing armored trucks around with a flick of the wrist.

A fight between her and Sylar would be really cool, but a long- range fight that becomes short range. So first Sylar TKs a truck at her, she catches it and throws it back, he dodges, and in the time he dodges she runs up to him and starts pounding him like there's no tomorrow. She may even win that by knocking him out, but of course in a re-match he would be really close to killing her before someone intervenes. Taht would be really cool.

Wolverine has the strength to lift at the most two tons, nikki couldn't like much more than that. If she could, the illusion girl would have flew out the window or her head would have been knocked of. Spiderman could lift about 10 tons in the beginning of his career and I seriously doubt that she could lift 10 tons. If she is stronger than that she is gonna have to show some bigger feats than ripping off a door handle or riping people in half. toad could do that.

If I remember correctly we looked up how much it would take to rip a bone in half on another thread somewhere around episode 3. I believe it was 1.5 tons of pressure. That of course doesnt include the skin, tendens and muscles. I would assume it would half to be more if the body where to work like paper! :?
