I know we have seen the cockroach a few times already...when there was signs that Sylar could be dead.

Although it may be goofy, but maybe Sylar can turn himself into an animal of some kind.

That would explain the cockroach. It would also explain why he hides in plain sight. Being a small insect definitely falls under that category.

Also, Hiro still has a dinosaur to fight. Since its a painting of the future, it cant possibly be a result of Hiro going into the past to fight. So maybe the T Rex is in fact...Sylar. What a fight that would be.

The power to turn into an animal would be one bad ass power.

i agree and dis-agree. i doubt sylar can turn into a dinosaur, because that would be lame to a lot of people. however, the cockroach idea sounds plausible. and, to add to your theory, maybe when he`s not in his roach form, he still as the abilities of a roach. like being able to get shot and live(roach shell) and being able to clynically die. so awesome theory!

I think it sounds too much like Animorphs. It would be a horrible power to introduce on the show, especially if they gave it to Sylar. While theres no evidence to support or oppose your theory, I hope it isn't true.

The painting of Hiro and the dinosaur has already been fulfilled...he was standing with Linderman's sword case (which didn't hold the real sword) in front of the replica dinosaur at the museum.

Therefore, I don't think this relates to Sylar.

Plus the whole cockroach things goes back to the first ep. Mohinder compared those who can use 1% more of their brain to God and then God to a cockroach.
