View Full Version : Did Sylar Get Saved?
Ok - while chatting about the episode with some friends someone said that it was the bad guy that Molly was afraid of that saved Sylar - hence the bugs. You know the 'I don't look for him because when I do he can see me' bad guy that is supposed to worse than Sylar.
It didn't really cross my mind at all - I just thought Sylar either drug himself away or used another power. But now that I think about it - it does make sense. That the really bad guy knew what was going on and snagged Sylar away once he had a chance.
Any thoughts on that?

I am sticking with my original theory!
The bad guy will be so bad, that Peter and Sylar will have to team up to defeat him by the finale of Volume 2!

great theory Ginx. sylar would be a very good allie to have, so there`s probably a 50/50 chance that that happend.

Yeah I'm really interested to see who this bad guy is. Maybe Mama Petrelli, since her supposed power hasn't been shown yet.

I doubt it was the new guy, otherwise Molly would have been screaming her head off because she most likely would have felt his presence. I bet Sylar just crawled to the sewer and used what little strength he had left to telekinetically open the man hole cover and slink down into the sewers where he belongs.

I think he "slinked" as well!

OK, after watching the commentary on the episode, the guys (Kring and two others I don't know) are talking about their decision regarding putting "handprints, how much does he drag" etc. So I guess its reasonable to assume that Sylar went into the sewer by his own free effort.

Yeah they did say about handprints and 'drag' etc. (misdirection anyone?) But I'm still wondering if Sylar had some help. Be an interesting twist.
I don't think Molly would have 'felt' the big bag buy because she blocks him out so he 'won't see her' she said before that she doesn't even try to find him. She knew Sylar was 'here' because she thought about where he was and then knew.

Sylar is not the scary bad guy. It is someone knew, which I think Sylar and Peter will have to team up to stop(I think I will call them Syter:lol: ). No one saved Sylar, he draged himself to the sewer.

LOL - Who said Sylar is the scary bad guy? I don't think I did lol.
Ok - well, that is your theory that may proove to be correct. Just having a convo about the slight possibility that Sylar had some help.
LOL @ Syter.......sounds like Cider to me lol...... :p

Like I said elsewhere, please, oh please, don't start with the stupid name pairs with this show like they did with Smallville.

the writers in an article said they were debating putting hand prints in blood to show sylar drug himself away but then decided not too. Sylar saved himself.

Am I the Only person here that wasnt bothered by the fact that NO ONE even NOTICED Sylar disappeared?

Didnt bother me at all. It seemed to be a typical 'badguy isnt dead and got away' type of cliffhanger!

It didn't bother me, but it is kind of wierd now that I think about it. Obviously the writers just needed him to get away, but it is yet anopther frustratin stupid detail that kind of blew the episode for me. I mean, this guy tried to blow up the city, and even if everyone had their own problems, even if everyone thought he was dead, even if the police didn't know he was the bad guy, there was still a guy with a hole in his chest seeping blood. Someone would have seen it, especially people like HRG, who has been chasing this guy for a whiole and knows what he's capable of

I noticed that there's a second lid that covered the manhole and I doubt that Sylar could have escaped through those small holes unless he can resize himself or he had enough strength to shut the lid tightly after he escaped through the manhole. I have this absurd idea that Gabriel actually died and the cockroach evolved and become the next Sylar (sounds crazy but i like that idea).

Hmmm.. and lookingat that picture again, it isn't a sewer but it is a storm drain.
At least it isn't as "icky" :)
Trust me I have been down in sewer drains before, it ain't pretty.

That makes a lot of sense, IMO.
