right, i thought and still think that this is a fantastic new series.......alot going on, and there's not one storyline (maybe apart from the nikki-family-affair) that i did not enjoy..

I see alot have criticised because of a lack of a spectacular fight at the end...i can understand where you are coming from, i expected as much too. But what they show i thought was good enough, for now...

What annoyed me about the finale was the way Sylar "seemed" to have slithered into a sewer? with like 6 or so people standing around with guns to spare dont u think any of them woulda tried to finish him off just in case or at least have kept an eye on him? if indeed he did get away....

About Peter, i think he spent more time trying to figure out how the future was gonna pan out than tryin to figure out how to use the many abilities he was blessed with.....something which im sure Sylar was doing...This talk of a more dangerous villain than Sylar sets up the next season well.

I hope peter will return more clever about how his abilities, maybe nathan survived? but their mum will play a huge part in the next season i reckon, and will be interesting to see what her power is.

Parkman should die, i think his character has run its course.....the nikki family id like more involved with "current affairs" instead of their own vendetta's, the rest of the characters are fine the way they are....just more of the same i guess!

ive posted on smallville since season 5 on these forums(obviously watched it all the way), and one thing i want for Heroes which has a lot of potential, is for it to be kept SHORT AND SWEET. not 8 seasons of half nonsense/half brilliance....not saying i want it to end now but i hope they dont take it too far, if u know what i mean.

Wait, if you loved every storyline then that means you loved the whole Hiro-sword storyline? the one in which he spent the majority of the eps looking for an ancient sword, only for him to find out that he didn't really need it in the first place? And this was only after Hiro spent an episode training with pops learning to swordfight, when the enemy they are trying to kill doesn't use swords and, therefore, sword fighting is absolutely useless? Also, this means you liked Hiro's whole Hope-and-the-money storyline which was probably the most useless and pointless thing that has so far been on the show?

Let's face it, Hiro is one of the best characters on the show, but he has crappy storylines that only serve as plot devices to keep him away from the core characters and plot

maybe i shouldn't have commited to loving every storyline...maybe i should have said most storylines.......i agree that the whole Hiro-sword thing was pointless at times, but he found himself in many other situations along the way which made it a bit better.
Saw him as a comic relief character at first to be honest so his story wasn't pivotal to the main events....but he ended up being that important also.

I loved every storyline and that the show was the best thing I have seen on TV in a long, long time!

How exactly did you (chrisxs5) like all the storylines I have stated above?

You have to remember, Hiro wasn't originally part of the show, Tim Kring's wife said the show needed comic relief, and as best as i can remember, i quote "one of those funny little asian guys". I'm guessing Hiro's story, while in a different time/country, will be more envolving and more connected this next season, and it will continue to as the show moves on. Since Kring had S1 all planned out, he needed to rewrite a lot of things to fit Hiro in, which explains why Hiro was doing some pointless stuff, so that S1 wouldn't get too confusing and there wouldn't be too many plot holes in case Kring forgot to fix things during his rewrites.

That was while he was developing the story line, and it was his wifes idea. He will never live that one down either. Next time he says "Honey you dont know what you're talking about" she'll reply with "oh yeah, remember Hiro".
