Just for a little speculation...we saw Sylar apparently die. He had his last few visions and then went blank- they made it very clear that this was his demise. Given this, could he have REALLY been alive and stumbled into the sewers?
OR
Could we speculate that maybe there was someone who dragged him into the sewers? Someone who could maybe bring him back to life?

He is not dead lol i think that is pretty obvious when he crawls into the sewers.

LOL OMG are you serious? that's what my whole speculation was about...this means they made it apparent that he was DEAD, and the whole idea was that there maybe SOMEBODY ELSE who dragged him into the sewer as opposed to his dead self...get it? lol (notes: it's a counter to those who think he isn't dead and new theory)
p.s. we didn't SEE him crawl into the sewers himself thus the speculation that somebody dragged him into the sewers, and we could be looking at a new villian here

When you're in a pool of your own blood, its most likely your hands get caught in the mess. But when you look, there is no handprints. And the streak of the blood is wide, meaning only his torso slid. Which does lead more into 'Someone Dragging Sylar into the Sewers' theory.
If thats the case, I can only imagine what that guy is gonna do with Sylar...

I was ticked, but of course Sylar can't die, he was the perfect villian. But- what's with the slug?

Maybe it was the person who could "see" Molly Walker, the person who is worse than Sylar.

I think we are anylizing into this to much. The whole point was that Sylar is alive. As for there not being handprint, you will have to talk to the set design guys on that one. I think they just graped their brushes and made the line as they were told. Plus would even need to use his hands. A weakened Sylar couldve used TK enough to drag his body to the sewer!

If you mean the bug that was on the sewer cap, it was a cockroach, not a slug. I.E. the bug that will live through everything ;)

I like this theory, could definately be whats up. I am SURE that Sylar will be back, but the idea that someone else (and worse) is helping him get back to his bad self is interteresting.
Just think how bad @$$ the guy (or gal) would be that could use Sylar as a puppet.
The only thing about the whole finale that I thought was a bit forced, and kind of odd was Molly telling HRG (or Noah, whatever he will always be HRG) and the good doctor about the "other" worse baddie. I think it would have been better if there were little snippets and just like quiet notes through out the last four or five episodes, hinting at someone else on the horizon, I saw that scene as:
TK looking out at audience: "Hi kids, your old friend Tim here. Now I know that we are getting real close to the end of the season, and the wonderful storylines the writers and myself have worked out for you are kinda wrapping up, as promised. I just thought I would pop in and let you know, we are gonna have an even BADDER bad guy kicking around our rag tag team of do gooders next year, so stick around, and we'll see ya in September! Alrighty- What oh right, sorry theres an actual scene going on behind me, lets get you all back there. Thanks for watching!" Then like throws a thumbs up our way, and off he goes. Just seemed forced.....to me.....a bit.....anyway.
Not trying to tell these folks how to do thier jobs, cause I am a gigantic fan of this show, and the story they are telling, but here's just an idea of how the reveal of the big bad could have gone:
Peter and Nathan go off to give everyone a heck of a fireworks display, Everyone is all happy/sad about what's going on. Pan up to a building overlooking the courtyard, or whatever, and see a figure from behind, so no need to show who it is. Said character says something like: "Interesting" or "Perfect" you know something to show his agreement with whats happening, while kinda giving him an enigmatic stance on it, then see his point of view go to Sylar laying "dead" on the ground and say something like: "That won't do" and then he drops the body of someone from the show, like oh I don't know wicket witch petrelli or someone else who has kind of out lasted thier purpose. Then when you see the blood trail, you (or me, or them) put together that someone else is gearing up to give everyone a run for thier fun.
just my rambly thoughts.

maybe the big bad guy is Petrelli's dad. We don't know too much about that guy, but apparently he had some kind of power. And if Ma Patrelli and Nathan (almost) were nearly evil, then who knows. It could be someone we haven't met yet, but with the way the writers write, I think it will shock us and be somebody we have either seen or heard of
