I know I am, I expected more fighting and atleast everyone to use their power on sylar, we did not find out ma and pa petrelli's power, the return of simone and charles was only a dream, (i wanted to see a city explode, soooo sorry new york and the preivew of next season was nothing special really, it could have been considered part of volume one bleh, im just sad :'(

It was never about the fighting, It was about the story. But Peter beating the crap out of him was cool.

well im thinking the older peoples powers will be mentioned next season. i think we wil get a bigger look on the past.

would have been cool to see the city explode but then if it did they really didnt solve anything from the first episode if it had the same outcome.

I really think you missed the whole point of this show; its about people saving each other not about fighting everyone. I think eventually they want the entire world to be unified. And the season finale couldn't have been better. BTW the next season is called generations, so we will find out everything about Ma Petrelli and Hiro's father and everyone else involved. Not to mention Sylar is probably still alive, I think next season will be just as good.

The Heroes' finale was a let down, it didn't have enough suspense and the "action scenes" were really lame. Parkman trying to "stop" Sylar was very stupid, he should know better than that. Hiro's scene stabbing Sylar was too slow, come on, the guy had enough time to send Hiro across the square!

TPTB chose a moral predictable ending, everybody together to beat Sylar, and Nathan sacrificing himself for the cause. Too soft for a finale, SV in comparison was rock 'n roll, with much more suspense.

I agree, it didn't deliver like I thought it would. I was almost completely satisfied up until the finale. A show can't have it all I suppose.

Yes BWBH, the finale was too convenient, it didn't have the intrigue of precedent episodes.

Agreed, and a lot of things seemed forced

Well, I look forward to more answers to be revealed in the second season.

The season finale wasn't like, OMG! =OO

No, it left me very interested to see what happens next. I LOVE Hiro, though I found it odd how easily it was to stab Sylar when Sylar knew he was coming.

And I loved how everyone came together. ^^

I was a little disappointed too, but a second viewing knowing that a big showdown wasn't coming helped put things in perspective and it really did improve by rewatching it. However, it still wasn't really finale good. I do, however, agree that there's no reason to be posting all this negativity in it's own thread. There's a perfectly good "rate this episode" thread in all of the episode boards for both Smallville and Heroes. But I at least have to thank the OP for not doing the cliche "WORST EPI EVER!" thread.

It was a good storyline but not enough oomph. I actually thought Ugly Betty had better cliffhangers and suspense. lol

Overall, it keeps me interested to see Hiro back in ancient Japan and the new guy Molly is talking about.

no no no i definately did not think it was the worse, it was just anti climatic, they really hyped this episode and the actual hyped finale was 5 minutes, i was only epecting more powers used than just niki, peter, nathan

Even the previews tend to make the shows look really exciting, but I had no problem with how the season finale ended..at least Im not angry I have to wait 3 Months to see what happens.

If they give us everything we expect we wouldn't have anything to come back to. The final Sylar and Peter showdown is a long way away I think. Think the five years from now episode fight between sylar and peter, except we actually get to see it. If Peter and Sylar had a massive blowout in the season finale, for one thing, would end Sylar and he is far too interesting to kill, hence why he survived the stab.

Second, if we did in fact have a fight, and Sylar still survived, it would wind up being a repetative fight between peter and sylar for seasons to come and that would be rather drab. I think this episode was awesome. This show is all about the story and it managed to take all of these people who have powers that didn't know each other, to everyone being together in that square. Sure, the only person that did anything was Niki with the parking meter, and Peter just pummeled Sylar instead of using powers, but I think that was the fact that he was worried that using his powers would overload him, when in fact it was his emotion alone that overloaded him.

Another thing about Hiro stabbing Sylar, we all know from watching Five Years from now that stabbing Sylar wasn't going to kill him, or stop the explosion, for one thing, he didn't cause the explosion, and another thing, he was still alive as was Claire, so technically Hiro did stab Sylar without Claire's powers and it still didn't stop him. Future Hiro had the whole thing wrong, but the knowledge he did pass was helpful enough to give Sylar a weakness, even if we don't know what it is yet. I think this show did what it set out to do, and still leaves me wanting more. It is about the story, the journey, not about the action or special FX, although that does help lol.

Yes drakum, but you must agree the fight could have been longer with more heroes included it was aproximately 4mins, i just thought it was more like a hiatus instead of a season finale thats supposed to concluded many things, if not all(but this is heroes lol)

I dunno, the episode in the future came after Claire was saved. Hiro said that Sylar regenerated when he stabbed him; this was clearly not the case in the finale. So it looks to have made a difference. Claire was only alive in Five Years From Now because of the change. She wasn't alive in the original future before Hiro got involved in trying to change stuff.

I dunno, I'm kinda disappointed in the whole ending. I'm glad Nathan did the right thing, but it's silly he had to give himself up completely -- though he is gone in the future too.

Another Plot Hole I thot was when Candace got knocked out, she didn't revert to her 'larger self', yet the illusion of Nikki/Jessica/Micah faded. Seemed kinda weak.

I agree with the Candice thing. If they do ever decide to make her a large chick, then that will be a very obvious hole indeed!
