I was so thrilled when he told Peter his name. That just showed how much he thought of Peter imo. Enough to tell him his name. The name we all wanted to know. But he'll always be HRG to me regardless lol..... :p

LOL
Well, now we know that Peter didn't faint. The question is was he dreaming? Was it really happening with Simone's dad? Or was everything he was seeing just happening in his mind -showing him what he needed to see to pull it together?
I don't think that Peter went back in time. I don't think that Simone's dad reached out to the grave to Peter. I think it was in Peter's mind - he always knew it - he just never really 'saw' it until he was ready.

I like the name Noah, but I wonder what he will go by next season. I have been so use to the Bennet, that calling Noah is starting to sound weird!

Noah warned people for 40 years that a flood was coming. This doesn't fit the description of Mr. Bennet at all.

Yeah I could see the biblical comparison...the gathering of heroes. Does he become the unifying force of the rest of the group? Almost like a pseudo powerless professor xavier?

To be honest I was hoping for a totally out of character name like "Herbert" (A classic Star Trek reference).

I read this entire thread loking for a good reason his name was Noah. I paused it for like five minutes trying to come up with the reason.
Thank you; now MY journey is complete.

I liked it. That was cool because up to this point he had been all mysterious and untrustworthy. By revealing his first name finally, he showed he was on the side of good. Plus Noah is real symbloic since he has been gathering super-powered people all this time. He really is a "Noah". Also, I like how Claire kept asking him, "Do you have a plan?" He kept looking at her like he was saying, "Don't I always?" Awesome interaction.

I agree! Though the reason I love him to begin with was the fact he was so mysterious and untrustworthy. But either way on the good side or the bad said he is still the man!
I think Noah fits him perfectly! Its just so hard to not say Mr Bennett or HRG anymore
And I loved loved loved that at the end to, you so know he always has a plan, just that look he gave Claire said it all! He is so damn awesome! Cant wait to see what his plan is :)

The real question would be if they choice to use his new name next season. Everyone on the show calls him Bennett and I think they should stick with that. Call him Noah again in next seasons finale and then you have another recurring theme.
