I thought every one hated Lana but now everyone doesn't want her to die. Chole dies...no, change it. Now Clark's going to be pissed off. Both of his girls died. He's not going to begin his training any time soon now because of this. We would have to wait for cool down like at the end of season 7 and then he might be ready to accept his destiny. Chole and Lana just died but one of them are going to be a fake death. Either Chole or Lana returns. One will return in the premiere but one will stay dead. I think it's going to be Chole who will stay dead. Lana is not dead.

I don't think that Chloe is dead - I don't think they merged either. I think that Chloe just passed out from using her powers for the first time.

I also don't think Lana is dead. I don't think she'll resurface until mid season next season but I think she'll be back.

I Tivo'd the explosion from the point that Lionel starts getting out of his car. The second that Lana opens the door to her truck the white truck obscures our view. And it looks like Lana deliberately waited until Lionel was watching to open the car door. There is one scene those where it definitely looks as if there is someone sitting in the driver's seat....

The only real question is: why would they arrest Lex for murder if they didn't have a corpse? Surely there would be a fried body in the car....they could check dental records to make sure it's Lana....

I assume that Lana would have withdrawn some money and that she's heading to France.

It could be that Lionel and her staged the whole thing and don't want Clark to know because they know he'll try to find her.....

Anyway...I guess we'll see....
