Sylar's Path of Destruction

So we get to see what Sylar's thinking now. He's going to blow up the city. I'm wondering if Peter can stop him or not. I think we're gonna get to finally see at least the beginnings of a show down between Peter and Sylar next week.

I think that they'll both live though and that a final finale showdown will be later on down the line.

But wow - Sylar is cocky confident now - no more glasses - he's got the black half trench coat and he knows what he's doing.

if NYC is really going to blow, then hiro going 5 years into the future is really worthless. i dont think its going to happen like that. im really tired of syler, i really hope peter can destroy him.

why is peter so afraid. he should know he is more powerful.

Peter is just taking from what he experienced last time they clashed. He doesnt want another glass shard going into his head now, does he?

He'll face him. He just needs the right incentive.

Peter getting cut in the head by a glass shard was just careless on his part. He could have stopped time - he could have pulled out one of his other tricks that he learned. I realize that he might have to become visiable to do that - unless he can use multiple powers at once - but still......Peter just needs to use his noggin - and out smart Sylar.

That being said - is Sylar just getting abilities or the other person's intelligence too? Because Sylar is becoming more and more cunning every episode. He's learning.

I don't think Peter knows how to stop time/teleport yet or else he could have ported Ted and Clair hundreds of miles or years away from Sylar.

Why didn't Peter just fly Claire outta the city? And then go back? I guess he figures she's safer when she's with him than when she's off somewhere else.

Speaking of which my plan for defeating Sylar was for Hiro to teleport him to Antartica and leave him there or the prehistoric times. I'd like to see him get out of that.

True, I thought it was idiotic of Peter and Claire to apparently ignore the fact that Ted was captured and not even try to go after him. did they forget that they were supposed to be getting him out of the city?

Sylar's super-memory is probably helping him become so smart and precise.

Peter is becoming more aware to use his powers on subconcious level. for example he heard sylar's thoughts. i was thinking no more is he struggling to call upon a power aside from going invisible and hiding.

Peter should have Sylar's super hearing and freeze power also. Unless he has to be aware of them to access them. He probaly has them already, he just doesn't know it yet.

He doesn't necessarily have to be aware, he healed after the fall at the school without being aware he gained the power. Some powers, like healing, seem to work automatically when he happens to need them -- like when he's dead.:lol: Also, recall when he absorbed Ted's power and started to go a little nuclear right away -- again without being aware that he had gained the ability.

claire and teds powers are passive sorta theyre automatic, freezing things isnt really automatic, but he shouldve had superhearing by now.. and im pretty sure he has to be aware of the power before he uses it(unless its passive)

I'm wondering if Peter can absorb all the powers that Sylar has or just the one he's using at the time. But I don't think Peter can absorb anything from Sylar since I'm certain that Sylar is something else and not a super powered person the same way that everyone else is - I mean Mohinder's dad said it - 'you don't seem to have any gifts' - that's just a guess on my part.

But it would be super cool if Peter could absorb Sylar's powers - total b*tch slap to all Sylar's hard work lol.

And I think that Peter has to know about the power to call it to use it - but under extreme stressful situations the power might just happen - like it did with Ted's power.
