Is that why TPTB couldn't afford a DECENT fight scene? Why they had to settle for punch by Wes and heat vision by Clark and viola, game, set, match?

cw gives smallville the budget for the show. yaris gave them the budget for the comic and game. kind of like acuvue did with the vengance chronicles. its just a promotional gimick for the prodect not the show.

About the fight scene though, I can't really complain about it since TPTB did give us an over the top fight scene between Clark and Titan. That fight lasted a long time. I'm sure they are also saving up at this point for the finale as well.
