View Full Version : Does Clark know that Lana knows about his powers?

Clark used his powers right in front of Lana this episode. There's no way he could explain zooming out of a closed room with the only opening being the window. He never acted as if Lana knows about his powers & neither did Chloe but in this episode he just used them like they were nothing. I'm guessing he's at the point where he's sick of keeping his secret from his friends and will only keep it against strangers & enemies (and Lois).

Yeah I think he knows cuz she told him everybody has secrets and sometimes they have to protect who they care about. I know he knew she was referring to him.

I think right now he's like "the hell with it!" I'm sure he noticed that she was getting closer and closer and at this point there is no real reason to hide it anymore from her! But i loved the zooming in and out of the room via thewindow because if Lana wasn't 100% positive of what she saw down in the wine cellar, she most def should be sure now! lol

He'd be an idiot not to...oh wait.

Seriously, I think he does know that she knows.

He knows she knows something about his secret, but I dont think he knows how much. Since he was going to tell Lana everything on her wedding day I think he isnt into hiding them anymore from her, yet as long as she doesnt ask he isn't going to reveal everything directly, but it seems he is more comfortable to use them in front of her now (as we saw tonight when he left that closed room very quickly via the window, before Lex entered the room)

Yeah, he probably knows she knows about some of his powers, not that he's from another planet, but it's been six years and now he's like "screw it!". Plus if Lex had seen him there he might have gotten a little upset...

I'd like to think that's true, but I remember they live in Stupidville, where Chloe & Lionel are the only smart people in the state. so I'm gonna say he doesn't know what she knows, she didn't see him leave so she cant possibly think he did anything unusual

Clark is vain. Not saying its a bad thing, but he is. With that said, he would never think that someone could possibly figure out his secret on their own.

He's been superspeeding away from ppl for years, always assuming that no one would guess.

I bet he thinks he's great at poker. In reality; he sucks.

Who cares? Way too confusing right now....

So CK didn't want to tell Lana because he was worried about her...
Now she knows, and cannot tell him beccause she is worried for him????

What kinda silly script, crap is this?????

He did a similar thing with Chloe when she discovered his powers but hadn't told him yet; in Recruit he essentially vanished right in front of her.

lol i would love to see clark play poker if he didnt get the right cards he would superspeed away get a new hand and the cards, chips would fly everywhere and he would be there smiling holding an impossible hand like 5 ace of spades and be like "what? im normal! then knowing hoe gulliable everyone is they would be like "oh yeah lol damn clark you beat us again.

how** gulliable

I believe that he does with what Lana has said and how she acts.

Lana already technically told him that she knew in Promise...along the lines of "it's okay, you don't have to explain- I know". I'm sure were suppose to assume that Chloe told Clark that she knows- what would give her a reason not too for something so miniscule?

I wouldn't doubt it one bit if he did that. Especially when using x-ray vision would be so much easier and undetectable. Why would Clark do things the smart way?

he probably figures if lex knew about stabbing him with the screwdriver, then lana knows more than she's telling too.

i add this on top of the other reasonings everyone else has provided above.

ya i think he's resigned to her finding out, but i just want them to talk about it and get everything on the table... maybe in the finale

That was pretty cool. I think he had an idea that she knew but he had to find out what was going on. What I mean is he couldn't keep hiding it for her protection he just needed to get info.

"I bet he thinks he's great at poker. In reality; he sucks."

That's funny because I read in one of the comic adventures of JLU where Booster Gold finds out that the reason Superman always win at poker is because people let him. Flash is like "we don't want to upset the big guy so we let him win" and Superman thinks he is all that.:rotfl:

Answering to the topic, I think that Clark definately realises Lana is pretty much on to him.
I mean, he didn't think one second about the fact that it would seem quite odd that he just appeared in her room and not even through the front door. The exit was the same, he knew that Lana would be quite flabbergasted when he was already gone by the time Lex hadn't even fully pressed down the door handle.

Even if it is constantly happening, someone seemingly running off fast all the time does not automatically make you think, "I think he has superpowers".
Consider the fact that even now (still) many of the "new" amazing things witnessed are still amazing to the characters, nothing is really ever taken for granted.
Would you ever suspect your friend from years back might have abilities just because he manages to slip away without you noticing.

I keep imagining the conversation CK and LL will have will be like that one from friends when Joey and Rachel talk about Monica and Chandler sneaking around.

"Do you know something?"

"Do you know something?"

"I might know something"

"I might know something to..."

"Whats the thing you know?"

"Oh no... I can't tell you until you tell me the thing that you know!"

"I can't tell you what I know..."

"Well then I can't tell you what I know..."

"......"

"..... You don't know!"

Someone mentioned earlier that Lex knew about that chisel that he stabbed Clark with in Promise. He told Clark about it Nemesis. But speaking of that chisel, what the heck happened to it... we never found out who took it from Lana's dresser, right?

In Nemesis lex knows about the chisel so I think he took it.

Based on Lana constantly asking for his secret and the big change in Promise where she says she doesn't need to know, I think he knew then that she knew, I mean he said he was different and didn't get any questions from her so he knows.

That was in a deleted scene which is not entirely part of the official timeline.
