I liked it better than the previous shot. More fit for Luthors.

I'm surprised at the continuity in the show. Afterall, Luthorcorp was across from the DP in another episode and its just the writers to forget that and toss it randomly in Metropolis. :lol:

It was always next to the DP. I think in this shot, the DP is behind it. The Luthorcorp building towers over the much smaller DP, so it would be eclipsed by it.

I went a little OCD when I saw the shot because I thought the building looked odd, but I checked a few other episodes and the building is the same shape. I think it looks different because we've never seen the building from that angle before.

My analysis is not exhaustive, however. There are probably a few older episodes where the Luthorcorp building looks different. As xrayvision says, the Luthorcorp building and the DP have always been shown as located close together.

It looked fake to me too. I thought it was a cartoon drawing at first. I felt the same way about the Satilate they showed in space at the begining

Yeah, They've certainly done a better job of portraying the Luthorcorp building in the past. And you're right, the satellite shot didn't look as good as it probably could have.

They should have used the money they used for this shot to make the Clark/Wes fight more interesting. ^_^

Beautiful shot! I really liked the shots they've been showing of the DP and now LuthorCorp. It gives this whole comic/future looking Metropolis. I like it a lot. :)

Both shots looked fine to me, but I don't have HDTV though.

I will say this, I never noticed the building before, but it looked pretty cool. It it supposed to be that close or is this a change?

It was great. Yeah it looked fake but so do comic books. :D It's the awesomeness of the idea that counts more. ;) That new shot really hit home to me what the comics always saw about Luthor: how he built his Corp to tower all of Metropolis out of arrogance and domination. I got chills looking at it. :)

It finally does the building justice. It's a lot bigger now and not just some building with a lobby and the CEO offices.

It looked fake, but hey, suspension of disbelief really doesn't exist much in a show about a kid with superhuman abilities.

In any case, the VFX did look kind of rushed in this ep. Probably an indication on how much work is needed for this finale.

I thought it was pretty poor. Same with the satellite at the beginning. Why not just use the real building shots they used to use, they were pretty cool..
